This was the top post on reddit few hours ago. Sometimes I wonder if people really believe this shit or WANT it to be true "for morale".
Same thing happened with Ghost of Kiev nonsense a year ago. By the time the story is debunked, everyone has moved on to the next propaganda news cycle. Do you really have free press if all the major news resources are captured by propaganda mouth pieces?

I used to wonder how Americans were fooled into invading Iraq under utter false excuses and believed it was because of limited access to info since all news is funneled through MSM filters. Now 20 years later with unlimited access to info, we're still getting hoodwinked into a worse disastrous war with not 1, but two (soon to be 3) nuclear powers. this is absolute madness. Every news outlet is licking their chops and pushing for this war that only benefits politicians and the military industrial complex.

I mean shit, even if the city was strategically worthless, you're still talking about roughly 20,000 Ukrainian soldiers becoming casualties or POWs in a very short frame of time. That's a massive chunk of Ukraine's fighting force which will leave them thinned out for the foreseeable future.

Honestly, this sets Chasiv Yar up for an encirclement because it's unlikely that Ukraine has enough soldiers in the area to fight effectively on all fronts now.

Welp, that's gonna be one that haunts that guy for the rest of his life.
