Phil so perfectly displays all of the manipulative, self pitying begging behaviors of a hardcore addict it really is quite impressive. Almost like he read a book on it and uses it like an instruction manual.

Everything that goes wrong in the present or very recent past is due to external factors ( issues from the sufficiently distant past may be acknowledged as something the addict was at least partially responsible for ). Things were going well but in that final minute some external factor blew everything up and now they're back at square one again. If you could only help them make it past the next ten minutes they'll be able to get back on their feet and set things straight, it has to be cash though and it has to be RIGHT NOW!! They're just asking you for the bare minimum they need to survive, they're not trying to guilt trip you but they'll literally die if you don't give them the cash they need RIGHT NOW!!

I have literally no issue with Mr Beast building his brand off of his charity. That's his version of reality---the escort story and car repair story were the two minutes he was proven right, so they're real. The other 50 times he was caught in lies and has no excuses, they're all "detractor memes".

But the information disclosed in these leaks (the Door Dash, liquor store, and WWE Champions purchases) is all fake. So they happened but they didn't really happen. Or something.

Isn't that how Phil thought since he started? He had a donation link in his early career and only took them of when he was with Machinima (for 2-3 years). He wants money just for existing.

Shits a myth regardless but Phil's got that BPD/NPD crossover. Not to psyche evaluate here but he leans more into Borderline Personality Disorder than he does narcissism. The symptoms overlap. But the real tell here is how he reacts to criticism and opinions. Narsacits don't give a shit about your opinion, you're wrong, their right. They have no need to rant about it or defend whatever they are accused of because they just don't care, and are concinced as such. They have no mental desire to engage in anyone else's opinions about what they do or say etc. Phil however is routinely baited to the point of anger and emotional outburts by opinions that clash with his beliefs. So much so he goes on half hour long unhinged rants and to the point of deamening people just to prove he his right and you are wrong.

I don't deny he's a narsacist. But he got all the symptoms of BPD aswell and bpd people kill themselves pretty frequently.

Add in alcoholism. Health issues. A shit financial future. A house you can't pay for. Gambling addiction. Add in a faux marriage and a failing career with no backup plans or experience in the real world.

Don't think he'd kill himself for reasons unrelated but wouldn't exactly be surprised if he did. He's like the ideal candidate at least when it's comes to white men killing themselves in America.

Matthew 6:1-4

Emphasis mine. Seems like a slam dunk case, right? It says what he says it does. That is if you remove it from context, which is Phil's favourite word when it comes to this shit.

This whole chapter is about intent, and actions. How to live a properly Catholic life. I kept that one about prayer because it's a very famous pair of verses. In this chapter, right after these verses it talks more about how you should view fasting, and alms. Its about your intent. If you give with the intent of heaping glory upon yourself then you are pissing god off, and he will not reward you. That reward being salvation, which i don't recall Phil believing in. I find it very funny too because the whole chapter in my family bible is headed by the phrase Purity of Intent, and is annotated about how giving is about venerating God, not about venerating yourself. I even compared this to the king James bible, similar idea.

In conclusion, the passage is not literal, though you can treat it as such and keep your charity anonymous, it is about giving because it is the right thing to do, and doing so for the right reasons, in this case venerating God which Phil doesn't do.

I thought I would end this with a later verse in this same chapter:
