There's a point where even your interactions with a pedophile must be put under scrutiny, even though I have looked back over my interactions with Coyote and on hindsight, seen the glaring fact he was clearly being more than just "a low key crush angle" when it came to his actions toward Sappho. It was immediately enough that the police dropped the case against Sappho when someone had presented credible evidence + proof of Sappho leading a harassment campaign against them, it was dropped because said person (Rayna) had gotten information and "Further Evidence" of harassment of people from Coyote, the cops looked him up and went "Yeah fuck this, this guy can't be trusted" and dropped the case before it could get going.
The problem with "Infiltration" in this case is most of us would have the foresight to know you shouldn't, as an e-celeb, use your real name/reputation when doing it at all. Most people would've made a brand new identity over the course of 6 months to infiltrate and either pretend to be into the same shit OR pretend to be the "ideal target" for the person in question (So like MamaMax did briefly, pretend to be a 13yo girl to a pedophile). What people won't consider that is putting that reputation fully on the line to basically try to sleep with the enemy which is what this became almost immediately.

I would argue that the authorities (especially USA) seeing someone accused of (What'll likely be) online crimes having an encrypted set of devices as reason enough to justify trying to break into them and I imagine there's no such thing as a "foolproof encryption" that some random online troon has access to. She is also under the belief that Telegram will not aid the police if an investigation is launched into a user on it's platform.
