Chudbuds was a pretty good instance to start with, I enjoyed it, memes, people being funny and having fun, but then something changed and it all became way way too autistic for me, some people seem to actually care about Ralph and his shenanigans and take it seriously instead of laughing at a retard because its hilarious.

As long as you physically break it in any way it should be enough unless someone really wants something from you.

The main reason you don't want to toss a full drive is that it's super easy to slot one of those into a dock and use it like an external drive and then reveal all the hidden files where you don't need the password that's normally used to log into a user ID on the machine. It takes less than 5 minutes and $20 dollars of equipment, which means any dumpster diver or retard who sees a PC sitting and ready to be picked up by trash collection can essentially have access to all of your computer if they so please if you don't destroy it. It's less about people finding out you say nigger on the Internet, and more about your bank account.

Microwave it for 2 minutes, then run a rare earth magnet over it, then stick whats left in a bucket of tannerite and use it for target practise.
Seems it would be hard to pull anything off it after that.

When a drive comes to the end of its service life I tend to sledge hammer them to pieces then drill through the platters a bunch of times. Thorough enough?

I haven't had to decomission a SSD drive yet. Those should be super easy to destroy.

I was joking about tannerite but microwaving old drives and running a powerful rare earth magnet over it should fuck it enough to make it irrecoverable unless you literally have the NSA on your ass for some reason.
Im not a computer guy but someone told me that fucks them beyond recovery.

I just run all of my mechanical drives through the drill press. A couple of good sized holes is enough to do the job.
