I'd give Stewart more credit than that. He was a) actually funny; b) could tell jokes that didn't rely on politics; c) could tell jokes about Dems being idiots; and d) could actually say nice things about people on the other side of the aisle at times. He was absolutely a liberal comedian whose views did influence the jokes he told, but that's not a problem as long as he's telling genuine jokes. It's his imitators who resorted to "Rs dum" as the punchline to every non-joke.
Stewart knew the death of comedy was coming. He retired just before the inevitable President Hillary. It's fucking rich of him to only know pretend to realize it when it's been that way for at least a decade.

The Daily Show during the Obama era it was very clear the studio audience didn't like Stewart going off on his policies. The one where he goes over Holder's fast-and-furious fuckup there's a whole lot of awkward silence from the audience.

I think a lot of the disconnect happened during the OWS thing. Stewart's brother is a Wall Street guy and his audience braying for his blood didn't sit well with his Jewish principles.

Yes, but also is it a crime to bribe someone who isn't a sitting official to not run to be in an office?
I'm not sure, but I'm not used to hearing people call something a bribe when it isn't related to the crime of bribery. I'm under the impression that if it's legal, then bribe is the wrong word to use.

Here's the archive of the article.

She doesn't even come close divulging who tried to bribe her. She absolutely knows who they are, claims to have had phone and in person conversations with them, and insinuates knowing what organizations they are tied to. The only hint came from this paragraph.

"Handlers back East" is the only clue.

I'm not saying I don't believe her, but if she's willing to shield them from a crime she's accusing them of, then I'm willing to not take the claim seriously. Name them or fuck off.
Put simply, it's not a crime and revealing exactly who would be a good way to die. Politically or literally depending on who it is. I'd suspect the person here is china linked so dead politically.

Not really, no! She would have to disclose it if she ran again, but this one would be above board.

If that is the case what is the reason for not naming them anyway then? Politeness?
Basic survival instinct.

"a sum of money or something valuable that you give or offer to somebody to persuade them to help you, especially by doing something dishonest"

From the Oxford dictionary. IN short, dishonest does not necessarily mean illegal.

Valid, but if a politician is influenced by the fear of someone else, then you're not electing the politician. You're electing the person they're afraid of.

I'd love Kari to just say names, I mean, she has already revealed she won't keep quiet about it, should be more than enough to mark her to be destroyed. If she isn't saying names though I think it's more due to lack of receipts. Unless she has an ironclad something to show that X did the offer in name of Y, it's all just words and a defamation suit, and methinks she would take a beating on that.

That or she's stupid enough to believe in honor among thieves since this is more than enough for them to fuck her over hard.

Not even the living symbol of the United States is safe. Thanks, Joe Biden.
STANTON COUNTY, Neb. (KOKH) — Two Honduran nationals living in Nebraska have been cited for killing a North American Bald Eagle with the intention of cooking and eating it, the Stanton County Sheriff's Office said on Tuesday.

The sheriff's office said deputies responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle near the Wood Duck Recreation Area around 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to the sheriff's office, 20-year-olds Ramiro Hernandez-Tziquin and Domingo Zetino-Hernandez of Norfolk had a dead North American Bald Eagle in their possession.

"Further investigation revealed that the two had shot and killed the protected national bird in that area and stated they planned on cooking and eating the bird," the sheriff's office said in a press release.

Nebraska Game and Parks was contacted and took custody of the eagle and the rifle deputies believed was used to kill it.

Hernandez-Tziquin and Zetino-Hernandez were cited for unlawful possession of the eagle. Hernandez-Tziquin was also cited for not having a driver's license.

The sheriff's office said more charges are possible as the investigation unfolds.

Imagine my surprise, then, when I discovered that apparently, some folks on Twitter don’t approve of this match. In a now-deleted tweet, one user said, “THIS is what AOC’s boyfriend looks like?” and went on to say he looks “like a bin raccoon.”
Hating gingers is the last politically safe prejudice. They want to replace us all with niggers.

Call that black Irish.

The COVID stuff is tiresome, though. Even how the effectiveness of the shot got immediately walked back after it was pushed, and with more data coming out about the side effects, it won't get to the point where your average normie fully denounces it. Best case they go, 'well maybe there's a chance it came from the lab, but who knows man'. It'll never be decisive enough for people to throw away what they already decided in their heart was convenient to believe.

The take away here is next time a narrative like this gets pushed, remember what it felt like at the time. Maybe try to remind your good friends, the ones who listen. But don't expect them to necessarily do anything different, either. It might sound like doomer advice, I'm trying not to frame it that way, but there's no point convincing people who won't listen. You can't always Ben Shapiro own people with facts and logic.
