Well it's a problem that they (or Sam) have created themselves.
MDE fans are dedicated and loyal (depending on where they fall on certain issues). But they're also uniquely autistic.
In a way that cannot be compared to most fanbases (lolcow or not).
Which can be be a boon, because they'll follow the trio until the bitter end.
But it can also become a hindrance if you want to court a more lucrative mainstream audience.

They have. Alex directed the sequel to the Wine Party sketch, the Bill Griefer stuff/The Three B's of Business, and some of the Vsauce parody stuff that was dropped on the HydeWars channel after the boost from the iDubbbz doc. Forgive me if Alex has filmed anything else with them, but, yeah, he's worked on/off with them the last few years, and his production quality is top notch. A more than worthy successor to Andrew Ruse, absolutely go check out his stuff. "A Profoundly Angry Young Man" on his channel is a work of art.

To my knowledge, Bobby Hacker was originally supposed to direct WP2 (Sam stated this in an early stream), so I wonder what changed or if Hacker is just assisting them in production. I know Hacker has helped with some MDE stuff in the past also.

I wonder if Noah Munck will be in it. Sadworld is one of the best comedy channels on youtube, even as he's moved away from sketches. There was some account last year that made two posts in this thread who claimed there's some beef between Sam and his girlfriend or something but there's no reason to believe that and Noah and Sam follow eachother on Twitter. Anyway I'm very excited. Sam is still extremely funny in edited form.

Yeah, that account you mentioned was Friko, who from what I remember worked with the Fun Church guys a few years back, of which Noah was one of the 3 hosts. Noah still works with Mackenzie Becket I think, and she was the girl in question. As Friko stated a while back, Noah's always been a huge MDE fan, to the point you can literally see How To Bomb on his desk in his Poker sketch. I know the Fun Church crew printed out custom World Peace and Alienmode t-shirts (unless Sam/someone sent those over - honestly might've been James Price, who Noah (and Charls) still works with), and were all huge fans of MDE. Shout out to Fun Church, rest in peace, that was some good stuff.
Not sure where most of those guys are at now ever since American Odyssey (their content group) broke up. I know Ben Lunato makes some sweet conceptual video games these days, and Noah's still making content, albeit shapeshifting it into even more of a unique style with every new video. Either way, I'm sure if Sam asked Noah to cameo in WP2, he'd probably do it. Hopefully that happens, would be cool to see them finally team up after years of making similar content. I don't want to defend or make excuses for the 13Do50s, but rap is in a completely different place than it was 20 years ago. Every kid is exposed to it now. It's a huge part of American culture and it's stylistically more diverse than almost any other genre at this point. A lot of us grew up when white guys would basically get bullied and prodded with accusations if they tried to rap. If you didn't come from a ghetto and have negros vouch for you than you were considered a clown.

It's still a little shocking to see a white kid from the suburbs making rap music unironcally without any real pushback - but that's because there are scenes and subgenres within rap that are almost entirely created by whites. It's gotten to the point where black rappers are ripping off white rappers to stay relevant.

Black people kept making the same exact shit, over and over again for decades and innovating at a glacial pace. White kings came into rap and brought with them an eclectic taste in music and influence. Lil Peep basically just took emo music and added a kick and snare. Lyrically it's all white guy stuff, with some rap tropes thrown in. I don't want to overly simplify his sound but just go with it for the sake of brevity. He started getting popular and making money and all of a sudden, like magic, there was an influx of black emos and negro goths trying to profit off whitey.

Same thing with Suicideboys and Ghostmane. They make really heavy rap with screaming vocals influenced by metalcore, punk and other white boy music. The whole scene is dominated by white artists with black guys desperately trying to emulate their sound and style. Listen to I Want To Believe by Suicideboys for an example of what I'm talking about. Black folk can't compete with that level of innovation, and whenever they try it comes across as fake. Blacks have done the rap/metal combo before, obviously, but it sucks damn near everytime and lacks authenticity, which is obvious to anyone who has a diverse taste in music. Even still they can't get it right. Listen to Shinners13 by City Morgue for a recent example of blacks (and brown, in this case) appropriating white rap.

When it comes to Joeyys music that's another white scene entirely and he's pretty innovative within the genre. He used to sound similar to Bladee (white) who was influenced by Young Lean (white) and that whole scene. Now his stuff is a more psychedelic, heavier chopped/screwed syrup sipping shit with Christian undertones lol. I've heard the genre is called hyperpop but idk if that's really what other people are calling it. Whatever the scene is called, it's the most wiggerish out of all the scenes I've written about so far, lyrically and musically.

That's where it's gets confusing for me because you look at something like Valid by bbygoyard or Percs by kirblagoop and it looks like it's just some white kids trying really hard to be black, and you'd expect them to constantly have to deal with black people testing them, but in interviews nobody does.
