McDonalds - I'm Lovin' It

View attachment 4616848

I haven't had their Filet-O-Fish sandwiches, but they look nasty. Also, no fries???
I know exactly one guy that regularly orders the Filet O Fish. I once read that it's popular with Kosher and Halal keeping Jews and Muslims year-round (and it was originally created as a Lent offering, so sales peak then). So it has its fans. I just see it and think that I could get a similar filet from Gorton's at the supermarket.

I get the filet o fish once in a blue moon with just cheese and ketchup. The quality varies between locations but when it's good it's pretty damn good.

I’m grateful for the mobile ordering because the stupid ass third worlds they employ pretend they don’t understand you when ordering even if you can at least order in their language. Take your coffee to go before a four four two potato shaped woman in a hijab splashes fabuloso on your foot with deranged, constant, obsessive mopping.

I think McDonalds is pretty mehhhh but i recommend people to use the mobile app if they want to earn cheap food. Once in a while I’ll get 2 sausage burritos with a drink. McDonald’s in my area has a buy one get one for $1 deal for the burritos, two of those together are about $2.25, and with a large drink the total comes at $3.25. Order it via the mobile app for pickup and you can earn an easy 325 points. Pretty great breakfast deal and the points add up quickly.

I LOVE the mobile app. It helps to get your order exact and ready before getting into the establishment. Those quarter pounder cravings pay for itself through the points system.

I am just realizing i have no memory of when i ate a Mcdonalds burguer last, it must have been like 20 years ago. I always think of some place better when i am in the mood for burguers.

I bought Mcflurrys a few times on dates though.

I sadly missed out on the Shamrock Shake

I've been to McDonalds a handful of times lately and it wasn't even remotely good. The one nearest me is staffed with tweakers nodding off at the window and lazy fuckers glued to their phones. Several times I've been by around 10:30pm only to find cones in the drive through, all the lights off, and a gang of people smoking joints behind a dumpster.

Full automation can't come soon enough. These people can't be worth paying $16 an hour.

what shamrock is already gone? that was fucking quick. Considering how often the ice cream machine is out of order (yeah it still happens A LOT even at locations with newer equipment) they should double the availability window to make up for it.

I want to try the Bacon Ranch McCrispy. I know dammit, it's just their same chicken sand they've been peddling for 3 or so years just with a couple topping changes but I'm a sucker.

I think it varies depending on location, I can still order it from my local McD’s from the app.

Probably three years ago or so. I know it was right after the local one changed management, and the first time I went there after that, it was absolute ass. Never gone back.

It baffles me whenever anyone tells me they're in the mood to eat mcdonalds, like they actively want that over something else. Literally any other burger joint is better. At least in America the fries are good and the burgers have some substance to them because your average McD's-loving hamplanet would settle for no less. In Europe you get a shitty soggy bun, a patty so pitifully thin it might as well be a literal slice of ham and cold, unmelted cheese, all drowned in ketchup and giving off this nasty artificial aroma that only mcdonalds seems to have and I can always smell it a mile away.

The only time I would eat at McD's was at my old job in the city center where there was absolutely no other place to eat within a 3 mile radius where a decent lunch meal wouldn't cost half my daily pay.

On my rest days (as in not training every part of my body), I might order 20pc mcnuggets and a small sundae. Their apple pies are banging too.

I got a Shamrock Shake on Monday. They're still showing as available on my app so I might grab one when I run errands tomorrow. I can make an amazing homemade one (use peppermint coffee syrup for the most authentic peppermint element), but there's something about the OG that I have a soft spot for.

One of my favorite X-Entertainment articles ever was about Matt trying to hunt for a Shamrock Shake when they were much harder to find. It looks like it finally disappeared from the internet many moons ago. :heart-empty:
