Is this thread supposed to be about the fediverse being cool or lame? I got pretty excited about it at first, but my first and only interactions with it have been poast and chudbuds. That was all I needed before completely abandoning my hope of social media alternatives being fun, useful, or relevant.

The fediverse made me understand why people were banned from twitter and how that wasnt that bad of a thing.

Some fool who will probably want to make sure Poast goes back to it's lolicon loving roots. The first thing I noticed when a briefly joined during Joshes promotion was how much the lolicon-anime degenerate subculture was stifled by the farmers. If someone buys it, they'll likely sweep all the Farms accounts out the window, and let it go back to being a quiet, under the radar, alt right hentai twitter it was originally, which is what I imagine most of the og fanbase wants.

Cost shouldn't be an issue. Anyone IT savvy enough to run an instance likely have a job in the industry which is well paying, and we all know they won't be supporting a family. Not to mention, the actual sales price of Poast won't break four figures, and I'd be surprised if it surpasses $500-700 bucks.
