When did kiwis turn their back on Trashraider? And was it because of any single bit of drama? Did new Chris content make everyone stop giving a shit about the leaks? Or did we just collectively come to the conclusion that dumpster-diving for charred, semen-stained wreckage is as autistic as OPL?

I'll paraphrase what I've written elsewhere on this forum :

There was a lot of criticism after the Catie Saga because Chris was left a bawling, broken wreck at the end of it and the Trollic Ethics thread had tensions rise fairly high when a lot of people were very vocal against Chris trolling and other people defending it. The entire forum was also in the process of transformation from CWCkiForums to Kiwi Farms and the forum's transition toward a less Chris-centric form was getting some people fairly anxious, both for and against.

While I can't say this for a 100% fact, but to my understanding Skyraider was very critical of Chris and Barb, based on my memories and what others have told me, he was pretty merciless when it came to trashing Chris for his tugboat and his lifestyle in general. Given this and his role as the architect of the trolling scheme that left Chris seemingly broken, I'd imagine a number of people developed a distaste for him back then.

I guess some people blamed him for Chris' little Gamestop incident, also even when he was leaking stuff he found in the Branchland Dumpster (a few) people pointed out that going through someone's trash is really far out.
Though even back then it was rather schizophrenic. People would criticise Skyraider going through the trash yet celebrate the findings of certain bits of christory.

I was just surprised to see that Holdek had been banned, he seemed like an ok poster. Well, evidently, he wasn't... so...

I don't really want to get in too deep into why Holdek got banned, but he was pushing it intentionally to the point where his banning was inevitable. It had less to do with his posting and more on his grudges that he couldn't just let go.

Concerning p-logic, that's hardly surprising. He did tend to go on holier-than-thou rants a lot.

My main problem with trash raider is that he acted like he was the coolest dude in the universe and seemed to think of him self as a fucking secret agent.

I also kind of have suspicions based on some of what he posted that he worked for the insurance company that handled the claim, and divulging client info like that is pretty uncool, even if it's Barb.

That's too bad. I liked Skyraider and his shenanigans. I mean, meeting with Chris in person is pretty hilarious and Chris is already a balling, broken wreck. The Catie stuff was a really interesting insight into lots of wierd shit, like him practicing kissing on a picture of Catie and his hilarious half-assed corss dressing.

RIP Skyraider, trolling despite the "maturing" of the community.
