This unfortunately has a slightly better than equal chance of being accepted by SCOTUS.

There are a -lot- of entrenched interests here, but the biggest faction and biggest interests are not actually what people think.

The faction most behind keeping the student debt going is the Department of Defense. Now, that might come as a surprise... but think about it a bit. The single, by far, the biggest factor in getting people to enlist is the promise of college aid and benefits. A number that has only ever ticked up as the cost of college increases. The group that cites this also has the largest proportion of people who end up staying in the military. So, the DoD has a massive incentive to not only keep the college debt crisis going but to -exacerbate- it.

But that is not where this ends, and where DoD interests and another interest people do not consider align. The Uniparty likes its stooges, and many people have noticed how the most vocal veterans tend to be on their side. This is not on accident. Keeping the crisis going and using it to funnel people to the military leaves people very open and vulnerable to interested parties within the civilian establishment to gradually mold them into people more useful for them. So, the Establishment loves hiring from veterans who used their enlistment to go to college because they are already mentally primed for it. Because they then provide the second part of the deal.

The Military does not pay off all your debts, only makes you think what they pay will actually matter. You still end up buried in debt. So the Establishment comes along and advertises heavily how if you work for the government for a while the debt will be wiped away. Do notice how what was advertised most on debt forgiveness is that program. This gets people to work for the government after being safely formed into a willing, obedient solder for the cause.

Its a military to government pipeline that both sides are heavily invested in keeping going.

This report is interesting I guess, but there's nothing really new or any bombshells. We all knew that cops participated, that Ray Epps was a fed, that Sicknick's death had nothing to do with January 6th, and that the congressional hearings were all bullshit. A crosspost from another thread going over how odd the events of January 6 were even without having access to this new footage:

The fact so few of the people relatively speaking on January 6th, 2021, at the Capitol were armed says a lot about the nature of the whole thing. Trump supporters effectively gathered for a political rally and were urged onward to do something dumb by either idiotic or fake right-wing militants. If the events of that day could be described as a "coup" (which is obviously suspect and compares little to the preceding Summer of Love) it was perhaps one of the most stupid ones in all of human history. The whole event is kind of odd when you really look at it.

While no one really talks about it now, here are some interesting excerpts from an article made in December 2020 about the then upcoming January 6 rally:

Four seemingly competing rallies to demand that Congress overturn the results of the presidential election, which their participants falsely view as illegitimate, are scheduled on the day Congress is set to convene to certify electoral college votes, declaring President-elect Joe Biden the winner.

Formal rallies are planned most of the day and will draw pro-Trump demonstrators to the Washington Monument, Freedom Plaza and the Capitol. But online forums and encrypted chat messages among far-right groups indicate a number of demonstrators might be planning more than chanting and waving signs.

Threats of violence, ploys to smuggle guns into the District and calls to set up an “armed encampment” on the Mall have proliferated in online chats about the Jan. 6 day of protest. The Proud Boys, members of armed right-wing groups, conspiracy theorists and white supremacists have pledged to attend.

Incoming D.C. police chief Robert J. Contee III, who will take over the department Saturday, said police are prepared to facilitate peaceful protests but that “violence will not be tolerated.”

Several people, including passersby who said they did not know about planned protests that day, were injured.

No counterdemonstrations have been announced for Jan. 6, although D.C. activists have issued repeated warnings this week about the likelihood of violence.

“Please protect yourselves,” reads a message co-signed by more than half a dozen D.C. protest groups. “We invite you to join us but please be aware that there will be danger present, so please prepare adequately beforehand and remember we have safety in numbers.”

D.C. officials have not commented on the city’s plans to address concerns of violence around next week’s rallies.

Its more than that. China has to import raw materials for its industry, Food, and energy. The global order maintained by the United states navy in terms of protecting international shipping is what allows china as state to exist in its current form.

It’s not going to change anything. The ultimate beef the establishment has with January 6 is the same ultimate issue they have with Trump: white people, especially working class whites, are not allowed to feel empowered about anything. They had a good thing going during the Dubya/McCain/Romney era of the GOP where they’d make token statements that would get promptly ignored and discarded. What gets the blood boiling is their arrogance, like hanging out in Nancy’s office, only Jews and influential pee oh cees can do that.

It’s why there is such a push for tokenism at the GOP: they want a return to the days where whites didn’t feel they had a chance to be a part of the process and felt satisfied if some ayrabs got bombed instead. I don't think they were mad at the Trump supporters going into the Capitol building at all. There were already feds in the crowd. We have several pieces of handheld footage on the ground of incitement, pushing others from behind from people with earpieces. Capitol Police firing teargas into a crowd. In fact there is one Capitol Police video where the cop says before the crowd arrives, "why don't we have more people? It's a setup." Pelosi controls the Capitol Police.

If they are mad about anything, it's that the Trump supporters didn't do more damage or kill anyone. And we can't even be sure the damage done now was by Trump supporters. The most violent act we have now is Ashley Babbitt trying to get past a barricade and shot in the throat.
