This thing with Chudbuds is a trip. I was wondering why this lady would want to burn her time creating a fediverse instance and getting involved in this weird shit but if their total (taxed) income together is less than 40k maybe they thought they could make a little money from this venture. Julian does follow Gator and Tea Clips on Twitter (https://archive.ph/ZCCIK) so it's not impossible that he might talk to some a-hogs, and with his professional connections it's also not impossible that he might have some insider info about developing stories in the far-right sphere.

Odysee is simply a frontend for LBRY with some content hidden and a few extra features tacked on, it wouldn't surprise me that the amount of work the odysee team has to do is rather low and Julian has a lot of free time to fuck around with stuff he shouldn't, if he wants to be seen as a respectable CEO. I know Odysee hired Top Lobsta a right wing libertarian artist who is very knowledgeable about the sektur.
