If Phil mispronounces your name, that seems like a lock that he knows who you are. Obviously mispronouncing names is something Phil thinks is the peak of stealth insults. It is also as subtle as gnawing on a fingerbone whenever a negro is on screen.

I don't know if you can say it is in DSPs defense, but he is enough of a retard to pronounce "kuro-nyan" as "kuro NIGH-ann."

You know this probably goes into the pet peeves section but I'll stick this here and it's in regards to Dave and the use of the term buy-in and how some of us interpret it as him expecting X in the future regardless of what happens. Lets go back to the Wolverine story and how he was trying to convince his parents to buy it at that moment and he could have it either for Christmas or his birthday but they didn't get it cause they're stupid idiot morahns who don't listen to their kids and not for the real reason and that's what do we do with a toy for a kid who knows he's going to get it and we have it but because of that decides he can act like a snotty little shit fuck-up from here to his birthday? And yet he was so afraid to create a podcast with Boogie and WingsOfRedemption when Keemstar brought the idea up. He has more in common with those two slobs than any other content creators I know of, but I guess he is too blind to see that or admit that. Of course, his massive ego makes it so difficult for him to accept that he is a "lahlcow", but this appearance won't do him any favors either.

I think his lofty visions of appearing on SideScrollers multiple times are going to be destroyed by the detractors the moment he gets on the podcast. There's no way he is getting out of this without his ego being shattered by at least a few people.

Yeah I caught that as well. I do find it most likely that this is one of those "in Phils paralel reality things".

It's one thing to invire a lolcow on your podcast for one time to try and gain views, it another thing to have said lolcow as a semi regulaar panelist.

Honestly what does Phil bring to the table? When asked about anything aside from food and SF2T his answer is "I don't know what you are talking about".

Phil is also allergic to taking a stance on anything and from the 2 minutes I spend looking at what SS usually do, they will talk politics and such.

From my chat with him Craig seemed truly fascinated with the drama around Phil. He claimed to have watched "A LOT" of videos. I backed out of the conversation at this point after making my stream on Sunday. I gave him as much information as I could to him. The ball is in Craig's court. He is doing a decent job of trying to gain viewership from the Vortex, I just don't think he understands that no one gets out of the Vortex clean.

Phil's nostalgia boner for ScrewAttack and Craig is absolutely going to get Phil tripped up.

To play devil's advocate here: Dave wouldn't be the first fence sitter being on a podcast. It's actually something that most social media "influencers" experience: You can't really express strong feelings (especially negative) about anything, because you will upset thin skinned fans.

DSP didn't even use to be that spineless. 10 years ago he had no problem being honest about his hate for certain games and genres. I think he realized that he attracted a lot of additional detractors who were butthurt about DSP not liking their favorite bing-boing-yahoo game.

As this post is in danger of being much too nice to DSP: Of course he brings many other terrible qualities to hosting a podcast: No personality, terrible taste, low iq, humorless sack of shit.

Makes sense, but one thing is fence sitting ,on most topics Phil wil be "duhu hu hu I don't even know what that means *legslap*". Quick transition into the story about that time Phil was fired from the helicopter factory.

DSP today with the BOLD lie that Kat knew nothing about the new Mario movie coming out. He said she was clueless about the movie and thought it was a live-action movie.

I could've sworn he said explicitly in the past that Kat had SEEN the first Mario trailer months ago when it came out, and she liked the Disney/Pixar style of it. Can anyone confirm he had said that on stream?

And I find it hard as fuck to believe that Kat, who he says plays games LITERALLY EVERY DAY, knew NOTHING about a new Mario movie. Terrible thing to lie about.

He also almost slipped and said he had to convince her to want to go see the movie. He realizes really quick what he was about to say then fumbled his words and tried to save himself. Phil, you're bad at lying and you have a terrible poker face.
