You accidentally pointed out why she doesn't want to be a woman or teen girl: even small complements like this that allude to womanhood or looks or being valued visually that isn't in her control likely set her off. She doesn't want to be anyone visually appealing except to those who she likes or trust, and even then it's likely hard for her.
It's so innocuous but I remember TiFs breaking down at this because they are terrified their value will always be with their looks and their looks are what attracted the abuse in the first place (in their head) so it's a cascade of negative thinking and horrible feelings. It's hard to climb out of and I hope she becomes more at peace with herself one day.
This got me thinking, so I hope you guys don’t mind if get a little rambly here:
I never thought much about how differently the sexes are socialized until I started actually listening to what troons were saying.
As a teen I was told my value as a man was dependant on having sex, and the more sec I had the more of a man I was in the eyes of my fellow stupid, awkward teen boys.
Women, on the other hand, are told the complete opposite; the more sex they have the less value they have as women, but again more so in the eyes of stupid, awkward teenage boys than anyone (I’m told, could be wrong there).
I’m not going to get into why, because I’m sure there are a lot of cultural, social, medical, religious reasons why and to be honest they why isn’t the point, but I will say I think outgrowing the mindset that the amount of sex you have had any bearing on your value is a sign of real maturity (which is why I find the 50 years old Boogie2988 trying to brag he had sex kind of hilarious).
With this in mind you can see why troons are all still deeply rooted in how they were socialized; MTFs are still obsessed with having as much sex as possible, even when they physically can’t (like Kevin Gibes) and think being so sexually available will make them more attractive to (and thus be able to have more sex with) other men*.
They are incapable of understanding how (historically) sex can impact a woman (pregnancy, death from pregnancy, sexual violence, the general “devaluing” of a woman who isn’t a virgin) and, despite many of them coming from that incel mindset, think being hyper sexual makes them better women, and take any sexual attention as validation (so many of them are obsessed with getting catcalled or sexually assaulted) because sexual violence isn’t a fear for them and they lose nothing (in their porn soaked minds) from any kind of sexual encounter.
*this makes “transbians” even more hilarious because they’re so out of touch with a female perspective that they think this will apply to women as well; and once they sneak in to the secret, women’s only places they’ll have tons of lesbian sex.
Troons really seem to lack all theory of mind and assume because they want to have sex all the time and they consider themselves women, that women must also secretly want sex all the time.
Which is also probably why so many are Consent Accidenters.
This works in the inverse too; many FTMs feel they’ve lost their value as women (usually because of sexual violence) and think they can be in complete control of all sexual contact in the future by becoming “men”. This is incredibly obvious in their weird interpretations of gay relationships (usually through fiction) where they obsess about true love and monogamy when they gay male scene is a filthy promiscuous mess (in my experience). Like the transbians putting their sexually obsessions on lesbians, “gay” FTMs put their fears of sex and promiscuity on gay men.
I had it explained to me once that they feel like being a gay man is so taboo that you HAVE to be in love to be open with a partner which is just complete fantasy on their part. They see every gay couple as Romeo and Juliet; where you’re risking your very life because you’re so devoted, when in reality most just want a blow job in a dark ally.
Are they all like this? No, but there are exceptions to every rule/case.
As a final aside, I’ve seen straight men call a woman (that I personally thought was pretty) ugly because her face wasn’t perfectly symmetrical. I think of that every time one of these hulking troons posts a selfie after two days of HRT with “I’m hot/cute now!”.
I can’t imagine being held to the beauty standard women are, these fuckers would be ripped apart if women weren’t socialized to be so nice to them (and they weren’t constantly threatening them with violence if they aren’t)
TLDR; MTFs think they have no value as men because they can’t get laid and become hyper sexual “women” and FTMs think they have no value as women because they’ve been sexually abused and become asexual “men”
While Latenightmuffin pointed to the obvious answer, I think they also fantasize about killing people because they want power and are too stupid/emotionally stunted to acquire it through a skill or something. It boost their ego to think about it since it shows they're physically superior. Or they just like hurting people because of the power high and they think it's funny.
I’ve brought this up in other places before but there is NOTHING that brings a group of people together faster than an enemy.
That’s why cults will often have an air of paranoia; their leader will convince them of an (often invisible) enemy they can all struggle against.
It keeps people distracted, gives them someone/something to blame all their problems on and as an added bonus; if your enemy is made up, you can also control the victories (which can be a great morale boost) and the losses (which has people turning to you for leadership, and others in the group for comfort, which brings them even closer together).
It also gives people something to fear if they leave the group.
So now imagine your cult is made up of social rejects looking to regain power (sexual for MTFs, social for FTMs) with the emotional maturity of a hormonal teen and a persecution complex.
Trans elders have told them women (and especially TERFs) are their enemies, and violence is the only response emotionally stunted, spoiled brats know.
