Stuff like that is always seen in context over here. Which means you won't be prosecuted for having a HUGE Z on your shirt. But if you do it in unison with waving a Russian flag it can and most likely will be considered § 140 Belohnung und Billigung von Straftaten. They also mention the "military symbol". So it's a Z with distinct lines on olive background.

It's not the same as a Swastika which is always seen as a sign of the Third Reich. Then again if you're a buddhist monk and it's stylized enough you might even get away with it.
