Disingenuous as usual. It’s not what you’re wearing that I have a problem with, even though I think it’s silly. It’s what you talk about and think is appropriate to show and tell children that I have a problem with, not to mention you want access to my children in the first place which triggers alarm bells. Teaching prepubescent children how to masturbate? Totally inappropriate. Sexually charged drag shows in front of children, not on my watch. Encouraging children to take life altering medication and have horrific surgery? No fucking way. They are so fucking dense it’s not funny.

Reddit atheists think they're more clever than they really are. If you saw the old atheism subculture on the site before Bernie Sanders happened and that became the new thing, this type of thing was rampant. It's kind of tied into that old subculture like how any remotely right wing post (or even comment on a post that is taken as right wing) is removed from r/atheism even though the post/comment in question has nothing to do with atheism.

Brother, Merari has been a Lolcow. He’s a disabled French (?) guy who powermods a bunch of subreddits including antiwork. A podcast called “the grillcast” did a bait-bit a couple months ago where they went into the anti-work Reddit live and started demanding that mods be paid by Reddit. Merari took the somewhat reasonable stance of “no, that’s retarded”, and his subreddit quickly turned on him and started calling him a bootlicker.

If he doesnt have a thread already, I would be interested in helping making one

The /books is a weird place. Recent events around Dahl's books and now Stine's were pretty much opposed. The common opinion was that it was either censorship or cheap marketing trick which is both gay. However, when it comes to the total censorship bullshit such as "sensivity readers", the opinions are milder.

Reddit mods on any sub bigger than a few couple thousand sub, or who mod more than 3 subs of that size, are by necessity complete losers. You need way too much free time and to be a complete NPC with all the approved positions to even classify to be a moderator on a big sub like WhitePeopleTwitter or any of the default subs.
