I posted this in response to a similar hot take screencap in the new TMNT thread:

"Yikes! Let's unpack this." First, was April really black in the original comics? Second, even if she was, is it "triggered" like SJWs constantly are (projection yet again?), or is it annoyance at all this "astroturfed" Current Year "political correctness"? Finally, is "racist" there SJW doublespeak for "wrongthinker"? And in any case, it's not always "racist" to not want a character to be changed from what people are used to.

(tl;dr: Looks like yet another manipulative SJW "gaslighting" attempt.)

(Also what if one didn't know April was supposedly originally black? Are they still deemed "racist" by SJWs then?)

A rebuttal to that "Stolen Land" argument is that anyone who stole land and anyone who land was stolen from are gone now. In other words, like with slavery "reparations", one shouldn't be automatically responsible for the actions of one's ancestors.

Was thinking of posting this in the Rowling thread, but it's only tangentially related. And it says so much more about the SJW mindset in general, no matter which "oppressed" group it's being applied to at any given moment.

Whether it be women, black people, disabled, gay or trans, they like to pretend all these groups are in the same struggle for one main reason: it's the narrative that gets them the most useful idiots.

That's the point. There's no winning move, and that's not just an accident, it's by design.
If they keep someone constantly off-balance and insecure, then that person will be desperate for safety and more compliant because of it.

The weird thing is most sjws do not give two solitary flying fucks about native Americans. There is a very small minority of activists focused on native issues but overwhelmingly the mainstream social justice rhetoric on reparations and decolonization is taking shit from white people and redistributing it to blacks and troons.

On reservations they have lots of free stuff, thanks to white guilt. All of that would disappear if they ousted white people. Life is shit on reservations because of their own poor choice and behaviours but it would be even shitter without all the freebies.

9/10 "native Americans" have some non-Native ancestry, they literally wouldn't exist if it wasn't for colonialism. Lots of non-native people have a small amount of native ancestry. That's why they rail so hard against the "blood quantum" as a determinant for who is actually native or not. It would be quite difficult to determine who actually counts as native if push came to shove, so they're happy to just sit and whinge forever about land being stolen 200 years ago.

Anyway they were all stealing land off each other before YT arrived. That's kind of what people did in medieval times, all over the world. So I don't give a shit. Or wouldn't if I were American.
