Ukrainian Defensive War against the Russian Invasion - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

If they wanted a "superweapon" they had the aek-971 from the soviet times, which had, among other things, a system to balance out recoil, and they were apparently considering it as part of ratnik, but ultimately... rejected it for everyone but special forces?
yhe the A-545 its made for SF and VDV but most of them god issued without optics and captured over Hostomel and wherever elite troops were serving nut overall this should have been made over ak12

Ukranians seem to prefer the American Mk-19 over the Russian AGS family of grenade machineguns, which says a lot as anyone in the US military that touched the thing knows it has a lot of issues such as it being a maintenance nightmare.
The Mk-19 is a Vietnam War era design and supposedly was updated back in 2017 to be more user friendly. But knowing the U.S. Army that funding most likely got spent on yet another to be canceled wunderwuffle to replace the Bradley and/or Abrams.

Its US MIC its most likly already developed and they developing for the stuff to replace that stuff like with NGAW program and ofc the whole *checks notes* um lets see:
Abrams X (autoloader with unmanned turret, prob next gen thermals, hard kill APS, next gen armor system that is classified and so on)

Then Bradley replacement is either griffin III or redback (hard kill APS, 50mm autocannon, with ability to mount a 105mm turret on on the platform, and more classified shit.)

Griffin III by general dynamics / Hanwha Defense/Oshkosh redback

plus more there are talks about replacing Stryker or updating to Striker x standards

Like if you think about it US gets multiple MIG-25 incidents where they get scared then develop shit that is lightyears away form the stuff that China or Russia has and all of the second you have a literal most technological advanced military in the world where even talks about in NGSW program with smart optics and I quote to be overpowering and unmatched in the field everywhere anytime anyplace. Ok sorry for the rant but if russia is getting their shit pushed in by stocks left form cold war like HIMARS MLRS and now recently used GLSBD ammo and ofc now with JDAMS making their way in there as well. What chance does Russia has if US gets boots on the ground with their toys and trained equipment.

That tank looks like F-22 on tracks, jeez
And unlike Russian "аналоговнет", they can actually produce these in significant quantities. One hopes there won't be a reason for them to be used. But it pays to be armed.

So yeah what is bakhmut doing now? At some point Russia claimed it or some shit but that was clearly nothing.

This is liveuamap right now:

It looks like they're trying to encircle a little village to the north, where presumably the entire Ukrainian army is hiding in an outhouse. Otherwise, very little has changed for the last week, if this is even remotely accurate.

There also seem to be more shitposters crossing the border to take photos in Russian border towns. I don't read slav runes, so I don't actually know what it says.

It depends on the operator and the unit. In the British Army they tended to be used by the Support company in a regiment. Which consists of more experienced soldiers, (and generally just less shit) than the blokes in the rifle companies. Soldiers that could operate an actual Heavy machine gun, i.e. a GPMG firing from a Tripod over the heads of advancing troops, were able to keep the MK 17 running.

93rd Mechanized Brigade is on point, backed up by Omega & 214th OPFOR (SOF); the Georgian & Russian Legions with Azov are on the right flank, while the 3rd national guard Spartan Brigade, Border Guard elements, 241st TD Brigade, and 21st Motor Infantry Battalion are on the left.

Just one Brigade in the city? Team Zigger told me the entire Ukrainian Army was there and getting slaughtered.

Ziggers think that Zelensky has been in power since 2014...
Petro Poroshenko the Chocolate King has been erased from history.

This reminds me of the radio contact between a Chechen and Russian during the Chechen War. If people need to be reminded that War isn't some damn game, they only need to listen to people who have no choice but to kill each other.
People only truly despise each other when they are taught to, or have extremely personal things happen to them. Even then, even if someone tries to snuff out any compassion or empathy a human can have for another; it's not a guarantee it'll work. There's a reason why Hitler focused so much on the youth.

based tbh
i can't stand all these 'international law' kangaroo courts and meme tribunals
Then you will forever be hated by the people you bombed the same way we in East Europe hate Russia. You will never be a benevolent hegemon or loved by your allies. Everyone will know all is fake and will wait for your downfall and destruction.
People that order crap like leveling Mariupol must be punished. Some people fight because they think their cause is just, some just for more power.

The DoD is correct and the rest of the administration is fucking retarded. Universal jurisdiction is a blatant usurpation of authority and violation of sovereignty. Neither the US nor Russia signed up for the ICC. It has no jurisdiction over them. If you want to impose this system on a country then go to war and force it to surrender with conditions placing it under such jurisdiction, or to surrender unconditionally

Expedience in the moment with no regard for the implications is hubris

i am not american lol, i simply despise these internationalist virtue signalers and their cuck courts.
you want russian generals tried and punished, have ukraine capture and execute them, i don't mind at all. just be honest about what it is (victor's justice) instead of grandstanding about muh international law and pretenses of neutrality and all that annoying propaganda shit these institutions are built around.
