I am curious about the lack of mom and dad in Dylan’s social media. I think he’s claimed they are supportive, but are they attending his big Rainbow Room show?
While I don’t doubt his family would use whatever connections and influence they had to help Dylan, being a “public ally” (like Jeanette Jennings for instance…) doesn’t seem to be in the cards for the Mulvaney’s, but the reason why seems to be both slimy and a bit surprising….
I was assuming that his family were Uber-conservative, much like this article dropped 11 hours ago implies….:

Just like the “I came out as trans at 4” story is a complete revision of history, his family members are not staunch, hardline conservatives….
The family has donated to both Democratic and Republican candidates (see below), and seems rather centrist, big-hearted and chill (so far, anyway)….

He doesn’t exactly strike me as a real hardass…..
As a matter of fact, his father was in a 2021 Insta post with Dylan right after he came out as they/them/non-binary (and right before days of girlhood), and Dyl is wearing a rather feminine outfit in the pic….his dad seems completely unbothered and comfortable in a public pic with his non-binary kid….not exactly the move a “very conservative” patriarch would make…..
No matter what, I’m glad he’s doing better and he seems like a genuinely happy dude
