yeah no, most detransitioners absolutely had gender dysphoria to a degree, it's just that pretty much all forms of dysphoria aren't treated with surgeries because it's mental illness, and people with dysphoria will never be satisfied with the results and always find other things about themselves to obsess about, like those plastic surgery addicts.
Detransitioners managed to get actual help for their mentall illness before they could mutilate themselves even further.
Having dysphoria about your voice being female, and then feeling even worse about your voice on testosterone, doesn't mean the dysphoria was never there to begin with.

When they say they aren't comfortable with their "assigned gender roles" for troons it's usually the responsibilities of manhood they aren't comfortable with, trooning out is just Peter Pan syndrome in action, and for aidens it's often that they aren't comfortable with the male attention that comes with being a woman, depressingly often a result of trauma.

Which then often just ends up with them settling for a (usually sexless) relationship with another aiden, because they were really craving a woman's personality in a male body all along.
