Phase Connect is a rather new company and originally they wanted to be the typical good goy vtuber corp so she'd get in trouble all the time for pushing the boundaries. Eventually she ended up being one of their biggest talents and a couple of people she's close to like Tenma and Lumi, who were also big, pushed things as well, so the guy who runs it just gave up on wrangling them for the most part as he doesn't care about vtubers, he just wants the money.

Vtubers are supposed to mimic Japanese idol culture, so they're usually very clean, which made these more menhera ones stand out more. Pippa will still get bonked on occasion and the company policy is more lenient on her as newer members seem to be more traditional in nature in terms of how they're expected to act.

The funniest thing though, is that one of Pippa's biggest pay pigs, hates the whole IBS and Metokur thing and spergs out in chat every time she goes down that route. No idea what he thinks he's accomplishing, must be a cuck fetish or something.

I think it's pretty common behavior for e-celebs in general no? Since they tend to get tons of money and clout, then they get used to having that certain amount of money and clout, and they lash out when they feel it suddenly slipping away. This was the final nail in the coffin for Tim. It won't be a quick demise but you can tell he is starting to hurt. Which is why he is lashing out and putting out a ton more DOOM and GLOOM videos. Somehow though he is managing to be especially lazy by not covering important news when it breaks. We had SVB on Friday and he couldn't even be asked to make a quick 10 minute video on it.

Scrubbed his video today on it and he was talking about "This must be the reason why no one superchats me or we're losing so many Timcast subscriptions." He always finds a way to make things about him.

He definitely is. He is making a ton of money. I get the feeling he sucks at managing it though if you look at his business ideas being "Make boomer music videos starring us." and "Open a star bucks competitor in rural Virginia or wherever the fuck he lives - that plays Timcast news 24/7."
Those employees are going to off themselves having to listen to Tim's voice ramble on and on. Good god that's worse than retail with Christmas music for 3 months on end.

The most annoying thing about the whole lash out, is that the last few times I popped into his stream, he goes on and on about how he's not taking sponsor money because he wants to be sponsored by the fans, when in that previous rant he made it very clear he doesn't give a shit about the viewer's opinion. Unlike his fake outrage about social issues, that was genuine anger when people were calling him out for being a tard.

Also, on the topic of SVB, there's some really important information a news source like him should have covered if he was a serious news network, and people like Patrick Boyle summed it rather well as they replaced the person in charge of risk last year, then dumped their hedge against their bond exposure which was incredibly stupid as their bond holdings were horrible and caused the 2 billion dollar loss, and their people were pushing woke shit recently as well which plays into the culture war.

Literally sit there, read it with the article on screen. That's how he started out and was successful and honestly? I liked it. It saved me time having to wade through a marsh of human BS to get some actual news. Most normal people don't have time for that.
