Culture The Bull Pit - Pitbull News Megathread - aka sperginity speds out agendaposting

https://www.cheknews.ca/pit-bull-attack-near-nanaimo-injures-two-children-and-one-woman-450395/

Two 8-month-old pit bulls that were loose in Nanaimo attacked several children, severely injuring at least one. Other people that came to aid the children were also injured.

The children were playing in a yard at the house of one of their friends. The dogs were from somewhere else in the neighborhood and had been cited for being at large previously.

One of the owners of the dogs came and got the dogs but did not stick around. The news interviewed the other owner, a Dangerhair that looked to be in her late 40s or early 50s. While she was devastated at what her dogs had done, she said to the reporter, "People are saying, look at this from the prospective of a parent, well, these dogs are my kids, too," and then she broke down crying.

It was later reported both dogs were euthanized, as there have been other incidents prior to this one, and due to the severity of the injuries the one particular child sustained.

To the dangerhair dog owner I would have to say, "If these dogs were your KIDS, you did a lousy job of raising them. Thank heavens you didn't spawn any of your own."

because some unsourced infographic says so? yeah you’re a real fuckin smart one
This comment got me down an interesting rabbit hole of information.

Came across this table of statistics for a very wide range of years. I knew it was bad, but was actually very shocked to see just how wide the gap is for attacks and deaths in general. There is clearly no contest.
This table lead me to a site I had not seen before for some reason as it looks like it houses a lot of interesting and backed data, articles, archives, etc in relation to dog bites and pitbulls (see info below table).

The above table was sourced by dogsbite.org which seems to be an absolutely fantastic resource.

Here is an example of a study done on dog bites.

Level I trauma studies

A review of 20 retrospective dog bite studies from U.S. Level I trauma centers. In the majority of studies, pit bulls inflicted a higher prevalence and severity of injuries compared with other breeds.

Level I Trauma Center Studies Characterizing Dog Bite Injuries Across Major U.S. Geographical Regions (2011-2021)

Summary: Table 1. From 2011 to 2021, 16 peer-reviewed scientific medical studies from Level I trauma centers spanning all major geographical regions in the United States—Northeast, Southeast, South, Southwest, Midwest, West Coast and Northwest—all report similar findings. Pit bulls are inflicting a higher prevalence of injuries than all other breeds of dogs. The majority of these studies (13 of 16) also report that pit bulls are inflicting the most severe injuries, requiring a higher number of operative interventions—up to five times higher—than other dog breeds.
Table 2. Four studies from this period -- all from Level I trauma centers in the Denver metro area -- show a mixture of results, possibly due to Denver and the surrounding metropolitan regions enforcing pit bull bans from 1989 to 2020.
Selection Criteria: Criteria for inclusion in this trauma study table requires being a multi-year retrospective study1 of U.S. Level I trauma center dog bite patients (≥ 15 patients), published from 2011 to 2021, the inclusion of dog breed information, and the scientific research conducted by medical doctors.

They even have an entire page on their fatality data collection method, definitions, etc

So for all the defender-trolls in this thread, is this also unsourced?

Also remember these vile murder dogs often attack animals much larger than they are, like horses. They're completely insane. They continue to attack even after being literally disemboweled or shot in the head. So long as they have a single functioning neuron, they're berserk.
It's too apropos, I could not resist.

Miura just turned a pitbull into a magical suit of armor, now that I think about it.

I'd like to know the statistics of pitbull maulings neutered vs non-neutered, honestly. It's possible that you neuter them ASAP as puppies and extensively train them, the testosterone is culled and they could be less inclined to suddenly snap. The genetic factor is always going to be a risk, but at least you're ending that dog's bloodline. Pit-mixes may be the same way.

The breed is extremely dangerous and needs to go extinct, but I do still want to believe there are pits out there who really are/have been good boys and never harmed anyone and passed on peacefully. There's still some anecdotes about that, it's just that the pitbull owners of the past who get all defensive and feel like they have to tell their stories to "prove" #NotAllPitties act like they deserve a cookie for their efforts, and no, you don't. You were either just that good of a trainer and had the means to insure they could exhaust all that energy, or you just got extremely lucky.

Really, there's a fucking reason responsible pet owners spay and neuter their animals. If you're a breeder, it's your responsibility to make sure everything's healthy and safe so the animals don't go willy-nilly on each other without supervision. Also you should be a licensed breeder, which is a problem that it's not regulated (awful to say, but at this point...). Go look in the animal breeding horrors thread to see the madness that happens in the hood. No animal should ever have to go through that.

Just spay and neuter all the pitbull pups, or euthanize the unleashed on sight. Each path ensures some kind of quality of life for one or the other.
My childhood best friend's dog was a pit-lab mix, and they had that dog neutered pretty early on. The dog AFAIK never attacked anyone, so maybe the neutering plus the lab part of it won out in the end?

By sheer coincidence, I had one too. Mine was neutered as well, and he was the goodest of doggos. Maybe it just needs to be bred out.

Here's a petition to euthanize pitbulls that almost killed a child.
What a great society, where authorities lets the dogs run free, that mauled 3 children.

The worst is the owners I can't imagine the justification of the owner not putting down the shitbulls themselves. "The children must have been provoking the dogs".

How do you breed it out? Pit puppies begin to show game at six weeks. Some kill their littermates.

This one dog alone had 117 litters (that we know of) and over 584,000 dogs claim him in their lineage. Not trying to be an asshole because I get how much people love their pets, but your good doggo was the kind of puppy that normally gets culled. You lucked out. Many don’t.

Woah this site is wild. It even has details on kills, winnings, etc. Not just pedigrees. Even that is flaunting the brutality.

Sadly this is how the whole world has always worked. Know those fancy fire exits with the push bar? Did you know a bunch of children had to die for that? https://youtu.be/SCics68FEMg?t=647

Timestamped with explanation, but if you have time I highly recommend watching the whole video.

Anyway, to my point, it would have to be way worse than some famous person getting mulled. At some point there will be a bunch of pit packs running around and only then will people "do something" about it. Always after its too late.
Maybe it'll happen when a tranny gets mauled. It could be a win-win situation!

And this is why you can't breed out the bad. People are turbo autist determined to breed it in.
Haha I can see it now, Pitbulls finally banned after a spree of hate crimes!
Nah, the articles would be about how the poor pibbles were influenced by white supremacy and it's totally okay for your children to sleep next to them.

Why are shitbull apologists so pathologically obsessed with that breed of dog? There are plenty of superior dog breeds for everything not involving mauling innocent people and animals.
Why do pibble enthusiasts need to have that specific dog breed? There's a few hundred cuter good boi breeds out there, that are much less likely to eat a fucking kid. Humans created this mess of a breed, we can get rid of it, and nothing at all would be lost.
White saviour complex but with dogs. It's fueled by their own ego. If they can "fix" or uplift a dog breed that's known for being super aggressive and awful they can feel good about themselves. You ever see those white public school teachers that go into the inner city to teach blacks because they really think they can "FIX THESE KEEEDS"? That's white shitbull owners.

Nigger pit attacked my shepherd tonight. I have two, they are bro and sis, bro is 95lbs, sis is 63lbs. Pit kept following the sis and bro was circling between them, then the pit lunged.

Got them separated and my dogs isolated in my car, the pit then came after me with my 2yr old in my arms, I drew my 9mm and the owner moved his ass and got his piece of shit dog.

My wife had to throw water on them to break them up. I tried sticking my finger up my dog’s ass but it didn’t work. Pit got his ear and neck fucked up, my dog got these two deep wounds.
How're your dogs doing? Any more troubles with this assault weapon?
In the future, putting the dog in a chokehold until it passes out is a guaranteed way to stop it. I've used it to get these genocide-candidates off my dog. I wish I had the balls to keep them strangled long enough to kill them, but I don't have the heart. I let them pass out and then confine it to a cage to be euthanized by the proper authorities.

Has anyone else noticed how these dogs, when they attack humans, primarily go for old people and children? In nature, animals usually target infirm members of a herd of possible prey. Pit bulls are no different, since they seem to target vulnerable humans.
Pretty much any grown man with an ounce of testosterone can wrassle a pitbull into submission.
