He's there (On the books at least) for the Physical Therapy services, and probably to buy time for the family to prep whatever changes need to happen at home - someone elaborated better than I could a few days back. They could in theory ferry him about, but if the home isn't suitable and the family isn't yet prepared to handle pissjug and asswipe duties, its better for him to just stay there. Even if they could give him PT appointments, good luck keeping them when you're not used to moving around a crippled ball of lard yourself, you'll end up hours late just from struggling to manhandle the wendigo.

Leaving for a movie is a very different problem than the rest. Doubly so since we don't know where his fucked up legs, sensation and control stop - he might not have effective bowel or bladder control at this point.

He's basically got somewhat free room and board, people to do everything for him, and Tammy bringing him extra meals, and a reason to play the victim online. He probably sees no reason to the place just yet as it's everything a person like the Wendijack could hope for.

I don't think Hope will stay much longer in the family, and will be put up on ebay like the labs. Luckiest outcome if they keep the dog would be Hope gnawing his fat face off while he sleeps on the couch.

Hope has been blessed. She gets to enjoy her remaining time as a puppy not being abused daily by this fat asshole .
