Ordinarily I'm against property damage while protesting since usually the businesses being damaged have nothing to do with whatever is being protested.

In this case I'll make an exception

Unless this shit involved kids, I'm against it. If it did, fuck them.
Looks like it did:

I just don't understand why people are defending this. Why is it so important to have drag shows for kids and infants?
Children can normalise all sorts of things if they’re exposed early. It’s why you see little kids playing in war zones - they just see it as normal to have that around them and get in with it. A child who has a parent with a deformity will have no issue with it while an older child who sees it for the first time might startle or ask questions.
There is a huge push to break down barriers to children and normalise things that should not be normalised.
- sex Ed in schools that’s so graphic it’s porn. We’ve got 11 year olds in the uk being taught about anal in school. That’s traumatic, it traumatised the child and then they’re malleable for a new opinion being formed.
- mixed sex changing and toilets - again is barriers and normalisation. Each sex is exposed to the other and not allowed to assert any boundary. A girl or boy who says they are uncomfortable will be punished. Another barrier gone. This one is particularly bad when you consider how much it opposes the previous safeguarding training. Previously we focused on ‘nobody gets to touch you in certain places, you have a right to bodily integrity, if anyone breaches these boundaries, it is bad and you should tell a trusted adult who will help.’ Now it’s ‘you’re a bigot let me expose you to this.’
Drag for kids is the same. It exposes them very young to something they’d not be exposed and should not be exposed to. It normalises the freakish look, the overt sexuality and it denies them the boundary.
Anyone who wants to break down barriers around children is a threat. Society has those barriers for very good reasons. There are NO innocent reasons to remove the barriers. Every single one of these people is a pedo or an enabler

For those who don't know, Vancouver, Washington is just across the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon, but it's a world away politically. Yes, it's still a liberal PNW enclave, but for awhile, they were making bumper stickers that said "KEEP VANCOUVER NORMAL" in response to the ones saying "KEEP PORTLAND WEIRD", if that gives you an idea of the overall tenor.

Ten or fifteen years ago, I would have said, "wtf did they expect trying to host this in Vancouver?" Now, I'm actually surprised that anyone objected.

“Don’t have to tell them, probably better for your mental health not to!”
She self doxes enough in her comment history a dedicated autist could probably figure out her troon name and dead name given a few hours.

In the time it took me to polish off a vending machine bag of chips and taken an aspirin for the headache these people give me, I learned:

She lives in LA
She has a 5 year old
She lives in a neighborhood so heavily Armenian that most of the kids in the school there are Armenian. "Little Armenia" is defined on this map.
Lived in NYC for 12 years and now in LA for 10.
She does standup and started doing open mics about 8 months ago.
She has only been on T a year and a half or so- given that plus the kid we are likely looking for a married or divorced woman in her 30s.
Amend that: she is 42.
She hangs out at specific tiki bars.
She looks like this:

Old bio:

Sara Clarke was born in New Orleans and raised in the swamps of rural southeast Louisiana. Branded a girl genius at the age of 4, she spent most of her childhood participating in special summer programs and being warned away from the alligators in the bayou behind her house. After surviving both the gators and the programs, Sara attended the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts in Natchitoches, LA, and then left the state at warp speed to study more things than there is room to mention here at various universities in Boston and New York. After moving to New York in late 2000, she had many scary adventures and became officially Punk Rawk. She will (finally) graduate from Hunter College with a B.A. in anthropology and women’s studies this June. She hopes to finish her first novel within the year, but then again, she’s been saying that since she was 9.

poppop's obit was a good key, I made an archive of it as well as the rest of these.
