And so far, this ain't looking great. Wish I knew more about half the banks on the trade freeze list, dunno if its just overleveraged credit unions or anything actually of substance - not that their impact on confidence is diminished somehow among the normies.

If Trump had won, I seriously doubt that there is much he could’ve done to prevent any of this, except maybe Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. Even if he was an expert statesman surrounded by trustworthy advisors facing a friendly legislature, there’s only so much one man can do when reality calls in the debts on the borrowed time the world has been living on since 2008.
