Indeed, Krav Maga, like the USMC's 'MCMAP' system and the Russians' modern military Sambo system are all only things you can really learn properly by actually serving in those militaries (or in MCMAP's case, the USMC), they're all specifically designed to keep a soldier alive in a very dangerous situation and they should, in their truest forms, be viewed as survival techniques, not competitive sporting martial arts. It's definitely not the kind of shit you walk into a strip mall dojo to learn.

Also not to get off topic on this shit any further, but kudos for your background in those arts. I'm not some kind of flippy martial artist ninja but I did amateur wrestling and boxing throughout high school and I still currently keep up with boxing mostly for fun and social reasons and to stay fit. These types of things are great sports for both the mind and body, always happy to shout out anyone who is interested in some kind of martial art, sounds like you've had the pleasure of experiencing a pretty varied amount of sporting arts. It's always the people like Tommy, who clearly have never actually trained, that go around talking up sporting martial arts like a badass...that is very rarely the reason people get into these hobbies, I could never see myself hurting someone over some shit talk that is easy to ignore, discipline is so much more important than any amount of tough-guy bullshit.

I just find it really disrespectful to people who train in any of these sports, because the people with the tough guy attitude become pariahs in most martial arts circles. I've met some of the kindest and most intelligent people in boxing gyms, lots of really cool, dedicated and down to earth guys and gals. Even if Tommy were 30 years old again and, for argument's sake, in very good shape, he would still be very very hated in any dojo or gym with the shitty type of attitude he obviously has.

Tommy is really bent out of shape for being called out on several things today. His video 128 (or 126, I can't remember) has him telling some poor receptionist that he's "military" and "on duty" which was pretty quickly called out as being stolen valor on AMB. Rather than copping to it, he doubled down and came up with several excuses that are pretty much mutually exclusive; his family members were in the reserves and he's some sort of military mindset but not the US armed forces kind that do work for the military industrial complex. He also got called out on fraudulently using the (r) trademark symbol for his "Delta T Creations" which like his "Real Things Artist Co-op" isn't actually a registered entity or mark. Yet another example in a long line of examples of Tommy being a liar and committing fraud, even if it's just to powerlevel before people that don't give a shit about him and aren't buying the horseshit he's selling.
