Nexpo/YT Horror Channels - Do they all suck

I can't believe she's still doing this, like her last video had everyone in the comments saying "this is clearly a fetish thing, why is the video 30 minutes long?". The worst one was that random YT channel she found where she speculated that the guy was a serial killer based on nothing.
That was that one with the Deviantart tard that was getting "abused". It's on Deviantart, of course it's a fetish thing. I think she just makes videos on whatever her fans send her and she doesn't do an research in to it. Just makes whatever gets clicks then tease about a grosser version on her pay account so she can milk money from them.

Bringing this up one last time, because for whatever reason my autism switch has been flipped for months now.

This is Mario Nights.
It is a confirmed hoax with a shit creepypasta that can be found on Slimebeast's website.

I just want to know what the bat creature is from. His name is "Emperor Eeyagh".

There is also an obvious romhack with accompanying footage here:

A couple of observations:

-Obvious anachronisms with full-fledged 3D on a supposed SNES game. It also uses the modern Mario design, so we know there isn't a massive amount of thought, research, or effort involved. Mario's face and expression also appears to be taken from the Mario's Mansion series.

--Eeyagh's laughing is his model having a "bloat stretch", which means the uploader was unable to animate him beyond a still image moving around a bit and shrinking. His eyes move and pupils dilate though, so I'm torn on what's going on there.

spritecomparison.png

-Usage of Kefka sprites is apparent. This, along with the way Mario walks in front of everything even in the foreground is further proof of a rush job.
-The video's also intentionally obscured by a circular crop & cold color filter from the Youtube Video Editor.

wormcompare.png

-Not sure if this worm creature is OC or not, but you can find it in the Songs Of Praise video made a few months prior to the Nights gameplay.

praisever_eeyagh.png
-Same for the monster in question; he's also in an older video.

Everyone keeps comparing this bat-creature to CDI Ganon from the Legend Of Zelda series but he looks nothing like it. Seriously, this feels like a cosmic "Balls on the dick" moment for me, because the overwhelming majority of Youtube commenters all exclaim "Oh that's CDI Ganon".

faceblindautism.png
Aside from a small nose and a hat with his ears poking out I don't know what these niggers are smoking, but it really makes me want to find out. There are no 3D renders of CDI Ganon; I am nearly certain this is from some Playstation game no one's ever heard of. Similarly confounding is the pixel art version that was completed for the title screen.

Capture.PNG

Of course I've already asked @Slimebeast but he wants to play stupid because he thinks the ARG attempt will take off or something.

TL;DR: Me like bat, no think bat is OC. Want source of scary bat.

Omg thank you I was thinking about this “game” a week ago! I love the Count’s design so I want to know how the fake box art was designed. It’s unsettling to the point where it ruined my appetite for some reason.

I just got to know who made his design and if he has a reference sheet so I can finally give him some fanart.

Some time ago I mentioned in this thread a little old Polish web series from 2013 by the name of Kraina Grzybów, which can be considered as a pioneer of the analog horror genre before Local 58 became a thing.

It was very specific in that when it first came out, no one knew who was the author of the series or what it was about. Only years later after the series has officially ended, the name of the author became public and only then he began doing Q&A's and such, which I think is something all current analog horror series fail to do. Not knowing who made the series adds a lot of mysticism to it, but then again, Kraina Grzybów was the first analog horror series, especially in Poland.

But anyway, I've noticed that the author has now decided to start a new series, 9 years after the first episode of Kraina Grzybów got uploaded. And this time, due to the fact that analog horror is now a global phenomenon, it is in English. I'm yet to watch the whole thing, but perhaps some of you may find it interesting.

Remember, this is made by a guy who started an analog horror series before Kris Straub's Local 58 series became a thing, but since his series was in Polish only it never became popular worldwide until it has ended.

i really hate that bat design. it creeps me out
He unnerves me and makes me feel sick it’s weird. It’s why I want to find the source of the image so badly because a design that memorable can’t just be made for a failed ARG.

I think a fairly decent channel is This is Monsters. He does a decent job using interrogation footage or body cam footage while also narrating the case. He’s certainly better than a hack like ThatChapter.

Have you done a bit of perspective correcting on the boxart and edited out Mario and see if you could feed it to something like Google Images, Yandex or Tineye to see if any old results would pop up?

I'm yet to watch the whole thing, but perhaps some of you may find it interesting.

This reminds me of some of the weird educational programming we watched in elementary school. Read All About It was my favorite and it was already a little creepy when it was only a few years old. The decades since haven't really done it any favors. I've got a soft spot for kindertrauma styled horror and this is probably a major contributor. Well, this and the damn Letter People.

The opening is enough to get the gist but the show is available in full here.

@Shek$il aight you've peaked my autism a bit, which is why I went ahead and did some scuffed cleanup work on the boxart itself and came across something interesting.
Firstly the images themselves:
Here's one where I did some basic perspective correction in photoshop
marionights1.png

Then I just painted over mario's head leaving Eeyagh's mouth
marionights2.png

Next up was getting rid of the Logos and scuff marks on the box itself leaving only his hands and sparkles
marionights3.png

And finally here is a version of just his head itself
marionights4.png

Cropped version for good measure
marionights5.png
Alright now onto the interesting bit.
I popped in all of the versions of Eeyagh's face in Tineye and came back with this:

(Notice the top part of Eeyagh's head and how it doesn't have a faded line at the top compared to the SNES boxart)
If you click on the file to open it yourself, it'll lead to an error page for rpgmaker.net. But if you click on the link where it came from you'll be greeted by this fellow:

"Imbroglio" The same username that posted the Mario Nights box on Slimebeast's website back in 2015

Taking a look further into his online footprint reveals some more details about him:
n6ntlR4kxe.png
He has a youtube channel which reveals his name to be "Jonathon Ivall"
(He also had a website too, but the link to his account above is dead and the wayback machine doesn't really show much of anything besides his name: https://jonathonivall.carbonmade.com/)
uEffdakqsX.png
Hb0EDLi2HL.png
So it appears that he's quite well versed in making 3D assets in something like Unreal Engine 4 and has some knowledge behind game development, as seen in these two videos below as well as his Artstation (which for some reason is broken in his About page)
pOcq4Ma9y4.jpg
He also has a linkedin page to further show his portfolio: https://uk.linkedin.com/in/jonathon-ivall-5b9704b4
7ddHFk66CY.png
As well as his email as shown on his YouTube:
jonathonivall@hotmail.co.uk

So it appears that our BatBoy Eeyagh seems to come from this Johnathon/Imbroglio fellow seeing as he has experience in 3D Artwork. Now whether or not he has any involvement with the Mario Nights video or whyare youscared channel I have yet to conclude.

Man seeing the name "Slimebeast" really brings me back. That guy's been a cow in the sector for over a decade now. I remember when he would get really butthurt when the guys on Bad Creepypasta would make fun of his shitty stories. More recently he has inserted himself into every drama surrounding big Creepypasta YouTubers as a desperate way to try and claw his way back into relevance.

Idk why I'm lucky lately but I keep finding good obscure horror channels. Here's two good ones for ya guys.

This guy covers a variety of creepy topics, but my favorite uploads are his unsolved and unexplained mysteries videos. He has a lot of cool stuff that I've never heard of before.

This channel mainly covers true crime but he has a few videos covering other stuff.

Fucking lol he's the unholy love child of CDI Ganon and Wizpig from Diddy Kong Racing.
