Germany facing economic collapse and you're not certain what they'll replace it with?

It'll be Nazis again. I don't care if they're locking up the racists, it will be Nazis again.
Islamic Extremists are just the dollar store nazi's. Ethnic and ideological purity, a chosen people and a hatred of jews, and full belief that violence against lessers is perfectly acceptable to ensure the comfort of the chosen people. If there was more pride in German culture and History, a Nazi revival could be possible. But as it stands, they'll go horseshoe theory on it and be the same evil from a different angle.

It's short, sweet, and to the point. I only wish the man would get back on Twitter and broadcast these video segments there because it needs better reach. And Musk is far less likely to interfere with him than the predecessors Dorsey and Agrawal.

Maybe. But there's less investment in the country itself. Islamic extremism is more likely to uproot and go elsewhere whereas those with generations in the country are more likely to demand a full blown takeover than to just divide until things can go no further before moving on.

Germany then. Their actual underlying economic system is more or less facing collapse this decade, and there's not really a clear vision of what, if anything, they'll replace it with. Religion tends to get popular in times of hardship, and woke germans aren't likely to turn to their 'racist' roots, and instead embrace alternatives. The 'Religion of Peace' is certainly a contender in that front. Most everyone else in Europe either has a reasonable, if stunted future economic plan, or is to anti-immigrant to really cowtow. Germans hate themselves and I could see them wiping germany entirely to adopt the caliphate title.
Give Sweden a little credit, it's worked very hard to get their population so skewed so quickly. If Germany goes a civil war route when their economy gets fucked there's a chance the Swedes commit to the ultimate cucking and peacefully change their government to appease their new native population. Of course this assumes Germany keeps it together (or apart) for long enough, but slim as it may be there is still a chance for the Swedes to take this one.

Fed released a statement that depositors of SVB will have access to their money (above the 250k limit?) in addition to Signature Bank which apparently has collapsed as well. (A)

I mean seriously they're just fucking with us. Inflation is a tax, you jackasses.
What I've heard, not confirmed, is that the FDIC is going to be using funds it has in reserve for those $250k insurances to guarantee funds to these depositors well over that $250k limit, essentially taking the position that, by using the money reserved for everyone here, it will save more money from the fund overall by preventing a larger collapse.

So, if it doesn't work, then their DEI pets have already gotten all of their money and it's everyone else now sitting there fighting over the scraps. Basically, they'll have to divert funds to cover it if/when the collapse continues.

>"it's terrible, what Florida's doing"
Ah yes. Restricting kids' access to sexual matters until they're old enough to hear it. How.....awful? :cringe:
>"We need to pass legislation, like we did with same-sex marriage."
God, I fucking hope the Supreme Court overturns that too. Because whether or not you agree that gay couples should be married, it should be up to the states and not a federal mandate.

I haven't seen it mentioned yet, but apparently Silicon Valley Bank didn't have a risk assessment manager for 9 of the last 12 months.
Well, duh. (A)

Who the fuck cares about meritocracy when you can have DIVERSITY?? At least when everything fails catastrophically, you can pat yourself on the back for being tOLeRAnT, right? After all, it was your bank that made history with the first trans, non-binary, genderqueer, demisexual, otherkin, disabled BIPOC Executive Vice President!

I hope this is a catalyst that starts to drag the pendulum away from the culture of ESG/DEI being something that a company seriously prioritizes. I mean, imagine how great it would be if corporate America actually prioritized qualification above anything else? It’s absolutely sad that I’m actively yearning for something that should be simple common sense, but here we are.

We may need a good stove-touching moment that results in some severe burns to finally get the lesson across- so be it. It’s all fun and games when times are good, but when you wind up with cataclysmic ruin caused (at least in part) by diversity hires in over their heads, a reckoning is surely due. It’ll probably be when certain VIPs don’t get their money that the orders will be handed down to tell the troons to fuck off.

I dread similar scenarios occurring in medicine and commercial aviation. People will actually die.

Don't worry, similar situations have already occurred and people have died. Except it wasn't because of diversity or wokeness, it was because of simple greed, as is wont to happen in any corporation where the shareholders and their profits come first.

Boeing made the 737 Max, people died. The opioid crisis happened, COVID and the vaccines happened, people died.

This ain't nothing new.

The FAA might be a tough nut to crack for the woke crowd. The aviation industry are turbo-autists when it comes to safety and procedure. Anything that questions that is going to get extreme backlash. Thinking back, I can't recall meeting a single aeronautical engineer that was woke. God have mercy on us if that ever changes.

I don't think he's going to have a choice after DeSantis officially announces.
He almost certainly has an exclusivity contract via Truth Social that prohibits him from doing anything with with Twitter, if he was intelligent it would be designed to end right in campaigning season, though I'm not even sure he benefits from being visible on social media at all.

Friend of a friend story, so grain of salt, but I know a guy who quit Lockheed or Boeing or somewhere like that because a 50 year old engineer (complete with wife and kids) trooned out and went from being a reasonable nerd to ruining the workforce of the section in 6 months.

He owns Truth Social. There is no contract. He's just staying there to try and make money because it dies without him.

You know what? Why not just go full hog? Blame Trump for the Holocaust at this point, you've already blamed him for every-goddamn-thing else under the sun.
At this point, I'd vote for Vlad Tepes just to fix America.

Ugh, that might actually cause a bank run in regular people. FDIC doesn't even cover what I have now?!

He can still use other social media websites but has to post anything to Truth 4 hours before posting anywhere else. That effectively makes posting on other social media pointless because there's so many accounts that just mirror his Truth posts to other sites.
