This is such a fucking tragedy. Like, I know more non-terfs who have seen people struggle and wither under medication that does more harm than good. Seen people have complications and bills for years after surgery they needed. Watched people scramble to find any alternative treatment to their predicament. This isn't a TERF thing, this is a near universal human condition thing that we feel sympathy to others who struggle with this landscape. Every time I see people try and get their dear offspring a vaginoplasty I shudder: what else is the "vagina" for? All it does is remove the object giving you dysphoria and add a hole for no other reason than... affirmation? No, trans women want it for sex and if they didn't they'd get a nullification surgery. A nullification surgery makes more sense: just get rid of the penis and balls without extra damage if their son is close to castrating himself, but letting the child grown and choosing to either keep his genitals as is or choose to pursue surgery is much better. That way, the of age offspring can decide whether or not he wants to sire a child then maybe have the surgery or he might even be comfortable with what's in his pants now. The amhole surgery serves no purpose aside from having someone else put something in there.
