Pretty sure it was only the boys that couldn't go into the girls. Hermione was able to go into the boys at least. Unless Hermione was a Tif all along.This is also reflected in Hogwarts Legacy. Girls can't get into the boy's dorms and vice versa, the most unique one being Ravenclaw where there's a duo of enchanted knight's armour blocking off the girl's dorm stairwell with spears.
Haven't played hogwarts legacy other than seeing a few beginnings of play throughs (null seemed to enjoy it more than any of the hp fans I watched lol) but am I right in thinking once you choose the dorm you can't go in the opposite genders dorm? If so, why haven't the troons picked up on this clearly genderfluid-phobic issue? And why is there no non-binary dorms???
