Till Kottman is a Swiss troon otherkin autistic script-kiddie who identifies as a "cat bi lesbian". Known for several hacks and data leaks, the latest two being the No-FLy List and the Anti-Trans legislation emails, Till stands out from other script-kiddies for his complete lack of opsec and being a narcisstic and terminally online troon.

This thread is to collect all information and milk from Tillie who has been featured on the forums a few times this year.

By his own admission, Till is not the original source for either of the leaks but he is happy to take on the publicity for both of them. Kottman's hacktivism is revolves around dorking around on google and shodan and trying the default passwords for the services he finds. He then posts the unsecured shit he finds this way on his blog, and formerly on his GitLab instance (http://git.rip) which was taken down by the feds in 2020. The No-Fly list was found by the journalist he initially contacted. Till also openly says the emails were not leaked by him, but he is only the publisher. Although, sometimes he does not even openly publish the leaks, like in the case of the No-Fly list

Till has also clickbaited his audience about a "leak", posting a completely normal zoom meeting recording of the ACPeds anti-abortion group, then removing the posts entirely a few hours later.

While not doing any actual work, Till seems to be quite happy giving interviews to local radio stations and begging for money or selling clothes. or posting disgusting nudes to his main or porn twitter.

Till's Twitter account, @_nyancrimew is currently suspended, as 4 days after this tweet, an FTM trans killed 6 people in a school shooting in Tennessee. His new account, @maiiaarson, was active for a few days and then auto-suspended after he changed his display name to "maia arson crimew".

Till has a Sprigatito pokemon plushie, that he takes everywhere with him, named "bingle" after an in-joke on a discord server he is in. Bingle is sometimes feautured on Till's twitter feed as part of most selfies or other photos, or just as shitposts. Till seems to be talking to it like to a real person which is a bit cute but retarded.

In several cases, prosecutors said Kottmann improperly used valid employee credentials to gain access to source code databases. The indictment says Kottmann also hacked the Washington state Department of Transportation, an automobile manufacturer and a financial investment company.

The APT name is connected with @donk_enby, who is responsible for the Parler hack a few years back, but this may just be a conicidence. I did not see Till refering to donk_enby on his socials. (thanks to @DoomSayer )

Till has been convicted in 2020 for the entirety of his USA related hacks and his house was raided by the Luzerne Kantonspolizei at that time as part of the arrest. His computers were seized but he was let go soon due to being a Swiss citizen.

When I see retards like this I wonder if the covid response was partly to blame for the spike in their quantity. I swear there's something about two years of these people never touching grass and thinking the mask did them any favors that made them emerge from the woodwork...

A lot of countries sort of shrug at internet crimes that happen outside their own territories, even if they'd be zealously prosecuted for the same actions against targets at home.

See also Gary McKinnon who went after NASA and DoD from the UK and basically got out of extradition by claiming to be too autistic to go. Given that he was looking for UFO antigravity tech, he might have had a point.

I dont think he did, he would not play it anyway since he plays mostly on Linux and rarely. Only 144 hours in the past 7 years including 40 on Linux: https://steamdb.info/calculator/76561198207887191/?cc=us (I dont know know steamdb calculates these because the per-os hours dont add up). There isn't any mention of the game on his twitter take for the usual trans shitposting.

This brings out the real betrayal of 'hacktivsts' against the ever loosely defined old hacker ethos. Information wants to be free! Well, now it does, but only if it can be used to advance our political goals. It's hard to describe how much of a turnaround that is. The novel Shockwave Rider depicted the 'information freedom' of the worm only as "punching up" as the kids would call it... But it was explicitly all information being released.

Okay so this is the ranting of a late genxer who was around the 90s hacking community but it still bugs me.

According to his own words he found the open CommutAir application server, but it was Mikael Thalen who found the list while browsing the server with him. It was sheer luck on their side as the list gets deleted after it's done processing:
maia: [...] I continued working on the hack and gained full access on their AVS server structure as Mikael Thalen, a “Daily Dot” journalist, confirmed that he would publish my findings. But at that point I hadn’t found the list yet.
Although I found a project named “No Fly List compare”, I didn’t really think that the list would be in there. I only found out that they always delete the list as soon as it gets edited.

maia: Yes, the aviation shit really did get serious. The reason I didn’t find the list right away was that I had never checked the test directories! Because why would the actual list be in the test directories, right?

I’ve been looking for it for the past two hours! How did you manage to find it in two minutes?!”. This is a good idea, I will go through his twitter feed to collect some lolcontent. Soon after the list post went viral people started contributing fanart of that green plushie (which he calls "bingle", I think)
