Yeah I get why they're not hiding that the villagers are already all infected because every RE fan knows plagas as this point. But I'll never forget my immediate reaction to when the original reveals the parasite just bursting out of their heads like they're watermelons.
2 of the several youtube commenters share my exact sentiment it was just totally unexpected and the Villagers from the start were already such daunting enemies.
On that note what I didn't notice from playing the new Demo was that the Ganados seemingly don't try to dodge Leon's attacks anymore. Perhaps that element is just not in the demo or in the default difficulty? What I really liked about the Ganados is that they were seemingly a tadbit smarter than Zombies and I hope that element is further explored. Like the old Halos I really hope/wish the Ganados would display more responsive AI. Like if Leon tosses a grenade some of the Ganados should try (but mostly fail) in getting out of the way.
All nitpicking aside I'm just happy to have the Ganados again, I was expecting Resident Evil Village to have a Romanian Equivalent and I'll continue to bitch and moan that Capcom squandered such a good setting. I love having enemies speak in foreign languages.
