Joseph Anderson is the king of talking for hours and saying absolutely fucking nothing. I hate that you can almost guarantee millions of views with a 3hour+ video "essay" so long as the title is catchy.

Agreed. His Elden Ring vid is basically 90 minutes of him whining about the game. LupineOs did a really good response vid to Anderson's said ER vid and called him out on alot of his garbage takes.

Another YouTuber I don't really hate but he does stuff that annoys me is Elvis The Alien. I don't know if I'm just autistic, but it seems like he just like...laughs too much in his videos. Like he's always chuckling at his own jokes and skits or bits of the movie that are bad but not really laughably bad. Anyone get what I'm saying or am I just a dipshit? It makes his videos kind of hard to watch for me.

Elvis the Alien is boring. He's pretty much the same level as Jimmy Kimmel in terms of humor, just awkwardly showing himself on camera and floundering around to the point were viewers beg him to stop and just talk about a movie, TV show or a shitty fanbase already.

The only reason I watch him at all is he sometimes covers things that are intriguingly bad I'd probably never find out about otherwise like Selfie Man or Grimcutty. But yeah, I notice he does stagnate pretty often too which is about as bad as the weird laughing.

Nux Taku went from a youtuber I really liked to someone I honestly hate with a passion. I decided to give him another chance recently and *tried* watching this and to me it says how much of a kiss-ass apologist fuck he really is. That ontop of making an apology video of all things during the Vshojo drama in which he actually didn't do shit wrong.

I think the problem I have with him is the problem I have with any other grifter, in that when it's realized that they're a grifter, I have to ask myself if anything I liked from them was genuine in the first place.
Yeah, being an anituber might seem cringe to people but I think my biggest gripe is how he used to prostelitize how many made him a better person and how the deep philosophy of Digimon had deep values to live by and now makes clickbait titles like this:

What a fucking faggot.

He just seems like the kind of person who would (or already has) sell his soul for a nickel of ad revenue.
I also hate how when I stopped watching him a year ago he kept bringing up that he was the man nobody could cancel as a flex.
No shit, Nux. You hide yourself behind your gay avatar and have milquetoast content, occasionally pissing off people on MAL/Twitter with shitty memes. That's typically not "Cancel" worthy. How about you do a face reveal and go back to talking about your favorite animes that usually sexualize teenagers and see how far that gets you. Mr. Beast. Especially after his "charity work" videos. It's not exactly the act of doing charity for people that I'm pissed about. It's HOW he's doing it that gets my main ire. If you have to film yourself doing a good thing for people, it completely negates the fact that you're doing a good thing for people. Especially considering how many copycats there are on tiktok doing the exact same fucking thing but even more fake and gay. You can have legitimate criticism of the dude without going, "LOL: COMMIE TALKING POINT". The fact that he's doing shit in the third world instead of investing money into his own community makes me even more sus.

It's not the fact that they got into gamergate that did it for me (even if I ultimately agreed with a lot of GG's positions on ethical journalism), it's that every single one of these youtube personalities that got involved didn't really give a shit about the ultimate goal of holding gaming press accountable. They cared about clout chasing. THAT'S what ended up getting up my ass during the entire thing. There wasn't any real reporting or exposing going on. It was just more culture war bullshit (which is a distraction). That's one of the main reasons why gamergate ultimately failed (even though they opened a lot of eyes to what was going on).

Kinda surprised no one’s mentioned Brad Taste in Music on the farms much. He’s a music snob who streams his reaction to songs his viewers send him. He looks like wavywebsurf if he had a worse receding hairline and sounds completely stoned in every video i’ve seen of him. In one video i saw he showed a clip of him breaking down in tears listening to some Coldplay or Radiohead sounding ass song on stream. I went to his twitter to confirm if he’s a massive fag and one of the first tweets i saw was his saying how funny Hasan’s latest stream was that day, and that told me all i needed to know.

Also to jump on the moistcritikal hate, he’s pretty much a drama aggregator these days, and half of his videos are just clips from his stream with him doing a 2 minute intro. He still does stuff other than that like the moist meter and official podcast as well as his other side projects, but that’s all inbetween videos talking about the latest crypto scam of the week or watching police chases on stream. At least he cut it out with uploading videos of him watching actual content like Sunnyv2 and Patrick CC on stream after DarkViperAU called him out.

One more which i’m pretty torn on since i’ve pretty much grown up watching his videos, but AVGN/James Rolfe has been on autopilot for the last decade and these last few years have been quite evident of that since the screenwave slobs started having more influence behind the scenes.

Cr1tical to me just comes off as lazy and opportunistic the last time I checked, his Nikocado video was trash with the justification that he wanted to help him and bring attention to him or something like that when half of Youtube was already talking about Nick. I bet he didn't got a phone call or anything from Charlie that just wanted to """help""", help himself that is, what a nice guy! I also suspect that he might be a psychopath since he doesn't get scared by horror videos games, not even a jumpscare, but I haven't been following him since before his 180 when it was just him talking over gameplay so I might be wrong.

I just don't understand what happened to Cr1tikal. I remember when he made edgy little clips of some him cussing at some shitty video game. I even recall he said in some video that he'll never show his face because nobody wants to see that sort of content.
I look away for a few years, and when I check in on him he's an archetypical YouTuber churning out trashy react videos and embroiling himself in drama and politics.
I'd call it a fall from grace, but his old videos were hardly "graceful" to begin with. He just went from "moderately funny dickhead" to "genetic YouTube lowlife".

The faux scholarly and know it all tone he sets in his videos have been uncovered to show his true bias in 4k. That's right Sam from Wendover is a raging leftist who refuses to believe the facts and falsely states the January 6 people were a mob of "election denying rioters." Truth is I haven't watched his videos in a long time due to his snarky attitude that seems to emulate Not Just Bikes channel. This latest president video intrigued me since the president we all know is highly incompetent and an utter joke. Alas the hunch was verified. Part in video is time stamped at 4:03.
