I can see the argument but it's pretty out of touch imo. All the younger wignats (the ones who make spinny wheel Hyperborea edits) use rap and hyper-pop in their edits, and it works pretty well. It puts an ironic twist on the degenerate music and makes the edgy stuff seem "cool" to zoomers. Being a stodgy, scolding nerd who's disconnected from pop culture is just going to alienate you from most normal people and especially younger audiences.

yeah I definitely think the viewers are inflated on Rumble but also, YouTube just has better stream interaction capabilities and keeps you logged in more easily. I have a Rumble account and rarely log in or comment or chat when I watch something there, I'm a lot more likely to comment/like/chat on yt. So I do think part of the decrease of those stats on Rumble is due to other factors.
