There's a photo series on Coll's timeline where he changes his eye colour from his natural dark brown through other colours, ending up with that pale blue. While you might do that to see how coloured contacts would look on you (or you could just buy a set of 6 different colours for under $20), his eyes are consistently brown in photos of him taken by his wife. So yeah, not contacts but shopping of selfies.
