This one is on dinosaur sightings in Australia, as well as the folklore surrounding them and the possiblity of giant monitor lizards being responsible for these sightings. Giant monitor lizards used to live in Australia up until they went extinct relatively recently, and given how vast and uninhabited the Outback is, it's not impossible that a very small population of vagrant giant monitor lizards lives in there somewhere.

Hell with all the drama and sperging he's done over the years there probably is a decently strong case for him to have his own thread. JC the Hyena, another infamous creepypasta author, has his thread on the forum and the only notable things about that guy is that he wrote Sonic.exe and had an iconic sperg out when it got moved to the Trollpasta wiki, as well as being a furry pedophile. While Slime isn't the irredeemable vile degenerate JC is, the constant flow of drama and spergery he's been involved in would probably make for a more interesting and entertaining thread.

Perhaps the JC the Hyena thread should just be repurposed to a general Creepypasta Author thread.

That would be a good idea honestly to make it a community thread instead. That way we could discuss more of Mario Nights without clogging up this thread since it isn’t that relevant to true crime YouTube.

I assume this woman has been brought up here before, but I'm not reading through 300 pages to find out. I came across this video and it initially intrigued me. It's just a simple retelling of an r/letsnotmeet post with some theories at the end, good background noise. Watched it all and... holy fuck it's pozzed. The absolute faggotry in this video is off the charts.

To give some context, this is about a post on Reddit where a guy describes coming across a small cavern/maintenance tunnel area under a bridge in his very small UK town as a teenager. He explores it with some friends, and they find a porn poster with the eyes cut out, along with a condom filled with blood. This is in a nigh-inaccessible, pitch-black tunnel, so of course it freaks them all out and they leave. He tells the story, then mentions he'll be going back after posting about it to see if he can find anything new (it's now several years later, this post was made in 2012.) He returns to the bridge with some friends, finds the area, and while the bloody condom and original eyeless porn picture isn't there, most of the other stuff is including a ton of human feces, an old porn picture with the vagina cut out from the paper, and most notably a knife. The story is likely real as there are ample pictures, and who the fuck on 2012 Reddit is going to fake finding a bunch of human shit in a disgusting, dark tunnel for clout?

That out of the way, the way the host "HannahTheHorrible" talks about this mystery person makes me want to fucking end myself. She says she assumes it was "a person identifying as a male" because there was a used condom. Just say "man," you spineless handmaiden. Later on she discusses the porn picture with the eyes cut out calling it weird and creepy. True observations, but in typical Clown World fashion, she just has to put a disclaimer on screen as she talks saying "GUYS IM NOT KINKSHAMING! DO WHAT YOU WANT AS LONG AS YOU DONT HURT ANYONE!" Not only is this a completely unnecessary piece of drivel to write when talking about such outlandishly weird and disturbing content like a homeless man jerking it and possibly killing someone while consuming creepy ass defaced porn, but she also states "but whoever it was must've been objectifying and defacing pictures of women, which is totally not cool " That is completely, absolutely retarded. How do you miss the point so badly? Yeah guys, jerking yourself off in a fucking cave to eyeless porn magazine pictures is only concerning and insane because it means you're objectifying women. Holy fuck. That's not even mentioning the apparent contradiction in saying "I don't kinkshame but objectifying women (jacking off to porn) is bad." Pick one or the other, you stupid bitch. Zero spine, zero critical thought, just PC language and a desire to not get canceled. Pathetic. What really pushed me over the edge was the extreme censorship. I get blurring images of human feces and porn, but... she censors the word "blood" for fuck's sake. You're a horror channel. Her other videos cover topics like Sad Satan. What this indicates, at least to me, is that this person is completely willing to water down the viewing experience in order to make ad revenue. I have zero respect for YouTubers who sacrifice anything in their content to make fucking shekels. I'm so damn sick of YouTubers saying "lol guys age restriction/demonetization sucks amirite? gotta censor swear words and terms like rape and suicide because even though my videos will likely remain up anyways, I might not make money off of you watching my mindless, regurgitated Reddit stories!"

See the backrooms is an example of how I think collaborative storytelling becomes too much. Backrooms was scary at psychological level, just randomly being one person to accidentally fall into an alternative dimension filled with nothing but empty environments. Isolation, loneliness, and the general unknown made Backrooms scary. However, much like remakes of good movies, modern writers can't help themselves.

She had me interested in this story all up until, she started to discuss the tumblr user's politics and said something in lines of:

"I didn't want originally cover her (tumblr user)'s politics in this video but since I would mention them if she was right-leaning/right, it wouldn't be fair
if I didn't cover them at all."

The moment she said that, any interest to watch more of her vids vanished because it showed that her coverage of cases will be very biased.
Good on her admitting this, I guess? Did she expected a pat on the back from the audience from not choosing to be biased about something for once? I don't know, man.

Anyone with half a brain can tell you that by making a statement like this, you're admitting to being biased to only cover someone's controversial political views when you disagree with them... I agree, to an extent. I actually quite enjoy the idea of the Backrooms having multiple "levels" as it were, each of them having their own distinct appearances and stories and environmental hazards... But the length places like the Backrooms Wiki takes it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It kills some of the mystery and uniqueness of the Backrooms as a concept when you fill it with generic smiley face monsters and "skinstealers." It's good to make a Backrooms game or something more enjoyable, but... to me, the original Backrooms will always be as described in the original 4chan post and nothing more; an empty, seemingly endless maze of identical empty rooms and hallways, where the loneliness and dread induced by being trapped there begins to wear on you far more than any potential monsters ever could... If you are alone, that is.

This especially rings true in regards to horror. It's a big issue I have with the genre when people like Hannah try to cover it. Horror is meant to horrify you. That's the entire point of the genre... Whether it's shocking, disturbing, unsettling, creepy, etc... horror media is supposed to send shivers down your spine and make you feel dread and anxiety. What the fuck is the point of covering or consuming it at all when you remove all the controversial/"triggering" aspects? At that point it ends up becoming something more akin to "mascot" horror made mostly for kids, like Poppy Playtime or Hello Neighbor... Shit that's meant to be soft enough for them to handle but still make them feel as if they're actually watching something dark and morbid... except instead of being for kids, it's for trannies and terminally online, oversensitive mentally ill Twittards. (sorry for being redundant)

Imagine if some of the greatest horror classics of all time never had anything triggering... The original Hellraiser was banned in several places upon release due to its graphic depictions of gore and themes of sadomasochistic hedonistic sexual torture, themes that make it a cult classic even today. What if "I have no mouth and I must scream" left the sole surviving character's fate at the end of the story to be vague and unknown for the purpose of making sure it didn't unsettle the reader too deeply? The existential dread and pure, unmitigated fear that arises when thinking of succumbing to an eternity of endless misery and torture at the hands of a vengeful, omnipotent, hateful overlord with no possibility of escape even through death is what makes that story so impactful and terrifying. Any good piece of horror media/literature can be viewed in this way. If you try to make something "horror" but avoid anything that could potentially stir up too much "bad vibes" in the consumer you'll be left with a hollow, dry husk of a story/concept that won't ever be worth remembering or thinking on, and that's not horror, it's just... nothing. It's a pointless and empty waste of time and energy masking as a creative venture.
