Anyone who is involved in teaching or has ever spoken with a teacher about these things knows that the kids whose parents are involved in their education do the best and the kids whose parents are not involved do the worst. I think schools providing free lunches would be great, but we all know it’s not gonna solve any problems on a large scale. Next, people will be claiming that black/latino kids don’t do as well as white/asian kids because the schools don’t provide free playstations, because more of the latter have them than the former. And like always, no real problems will be solved, and we’ll just find a new one.
