DarksydePhil / TheyCallMeDSP / Phil Burnell: The Side Scrollers Podcast Week of March 13th

Phil is not doing a second interview, he barely could tolerate Keem.
Not so sure, today was the most exciting day on Phil's life since he placed 4th at Evo.

He'll be back to begging tomorrow but he might start missing the experience of actually feeling anything other than the existencial dread of spending 8 hours a day pretending to like video games he absolutely hates.

I'm aware of people telling him he could easily show his account without compromising himself, but if someone has actually offered to verify it for him like Craig did, that's interesting.

Yeah, the impromptu retcon on the bank leaks was crazy, but they did press him enough to make him say it wasn't his account yet identity theft did happen, somehow money was stolen or spent fraudulently but he didn't talk to the police about it because years earlier they had told him they couldn't help him with something unrelated, but he did ask them if they could hypothetically help him if he was ever the victim of identity theft and they said no. Okay, man. He was in a frenzy trying to explain that one. It's like he came up with the most genius idea to tell them the account wasn't even his, and immediately regretted it.
On the business expenses, I think they also did reasonably well. They had to repeat the question because he wouldn't answer it, and then he still didn't. They could have kept going, but if I remember right, they acknowledged how the expenses simply don't add up and how he's not answering the question.
We were never going to get confessions, but the whole interview is the absolute opposite of what he wanted. He never had a single good answer to anything.
What's baffling is that in the past several months he's held his phone up to the camera to show us one thing or another many times. He always covers up something in the notifications bar with his thumb but he could've done the same thing today live with his WWE account. His story about how it would reveal personal info and put his family at risk strains credulity. Absolutely nobody bought it.

One thing that really sunk in for me today is that Phil isn't really lying about anything. He believes every word he says, even the stories he's making up on the spot. He's in such a bad spot with no way out that his brain copes with delusions. Even on his own show tonight where he was acting like he hit it out of the park and really thinks he's going to be a regular guest or co-host. He's not well.

I agree with him on this actually, Keem bragging about "having more detractors than Phil, Boogie and Wings combined" was pretty sad and pathetic. Imagine going to a DSP interview show to stroke your own ego.
That's true, but hearing Phil complain about someone being an egomaniac who must have everything be about them is really funny. Especially after Phil accuses that person of having no self awareness. The projection is off the charts.

There is one reason and only one reason why DSP hates Keem the way that he does, and it isn't because he covered the Jerk-off incident or because "he's hurt so many people with his kahntent".... it's money. Keem has multiple revenue streams and millions of dollars. We can post messages on here, in his stream chat, etc. calling DSP an e-beggar and grifter, and Phil won't lose one minute of sleep over it.

He's well-aware that he has to beg for allowance money from children and government payments from literal retards to fund his lifestyle, but when he hears it from someone like Keem - someone his age that started online at literally the same time he did, it absolutely guts him.

Keem is the embodiment of all of the money that he could have made if he wasn't such a fucking retard, and he can't stand to be around him or talk about him for that reason. Even the Side Scroller guys mentioned how the internet changed and DSP didn't change with it. "But I am changing, dood! I've started diversifying kahntent and I started a reACKt channel!"

Yeah, a decade late, you absolute knuckle-dragging mong. This guy was still using a camcorder to record his vids as late as 2013, ffs.
The still on level one insult really rubbed Phil the wrong way, that's why he tried to lean back into the turning a "negative into a pahsative" meme thing he had going on a while back (like using detractor curated memes for his own content), because like the narc he is, he just couldn't for the life of him seeing someone who he jealously despises punching down on him.

Keem has fuck you money, he doesn't have work his but off again for the rest of his life, something Phil could only dream of (he had that opportunity and pissed it all away).

Agreed, it was actually pretty surreal to see him interacting with actual human beans and not to some barely coherent "I lic teh playtroo Obilvillion, Phel" chat message from Jayde on Wheelz.

One thing I think Craig should've done was get DSP on the record with how much he makes a month. It's well documented and there's no way anybody can fake the dono logs (unless he's the one faking with fake donos). We know he brings in $10k+ per month. He went on and on about how broke he always is but then says he won't get a job because he'd never make as much as he does streaming now? That $10k/mo figure would've put everything in perspective for the normie viewers who'd never heard of him before. It felt like DSP was even prepared for that with the new secret medical problems. Of course he rants for hours/days over a paper cut or an ear-ache but we're to believe he's got all these never before mentioned medical bills? Even though he never goes to the doctor? He begs for money because he's got the big mortgage payment on the half-million $$$ condo but not serious medical bills that would actually be worthy of pity? Who believes that shit?

Anyway if there is a part two they need to nail him down on a real income number before asking where all the money goes.

Keem was literally answering to Phil's " I'm justified in everything I do because of the detractors, woe is me, you wouldn't understand!"

Stupid argument, of course Keem should point out that he has 25 times the audience, including detractors,.

Maybe I wrong but I felt keem was trying to convey something that Phil refuses to accept. He's not some rare creature on the internet. Wether people it admit or not sites like livestreamfails are in the same vain as detractor shit. The bigger the streamer the bigger the community dedicated to hating them. The more crazies that orbit them.

No one's ever been shot and killed by the police in Phil's driveway because they had attempted to break in to his snort fort.

No one's ever shot at his house where his wife and cat stay.

He's never had the mainstream media calling him out over his gamer moment.

Phil's never conned teenagers with nfts or crypto schemes or the latest loot box.

This shit happens to to those people on a bigger scale. With actual implications in the real world. He's not alone. The point is other people found success despite having to deal with people who hate their fucking guts. Period. Dosent matter context. Whose worse or richer or more racist. Less followers more whatever.. They all have to deal with this shit. Far more so than phil ever will.

Its more of a criticism of Phil's victimhood than it is an ego thing.

Phil's problem is that this is all he has. Those big streamers just have a buffer of content people actually enjoy between it.

Finally, on Craig's decompression stream, he said he personally believes it is Phil's WWE Champions account. Craig also said: "Let's say you're talking to somebody, your uncle, and you smell alcohol on his breath. You ask did he drink, he says no. You say, you're holding a bottle of alcohol, and he says I didn't drink it. That's how I felt today."

I prefer the analogy they used on the interview.

“Phil, it’s like there’s been a murder and you’re standing over the body with a smoking gun saying ‘I don’t know what happened’.”

Also agree Keem only bought up his own detractors to try to stop the ‘woe is me, detractors cripple everything I do’ shield that pig was trying to hide behind.

to be fair to keem, a show like drama alert is a really good way to gain a lot of enemies.
a lot of people probably hate keem with a passion and would wish to do harm to him.

So the full video got put on patreon later during the day and not immediately afterwards. It was the full interview plus the post show, so I trimmed it near the end and to the start of the postshow. Enjoy! Also here is the full-link to the unlisted video on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akP4GhIH__Y&t=19144s

Also - imagine having a chat with 2 people, they suggest you should get a new job, go outside more and possibly seek therapy….. and walking away thinking the conversation went well!!

Multiple times both guys told Phil straight up they don't believe him. Yet Phil ended the interview saying he hopes he can become a regular in the future..

One of my favorite parts was when Phil said he never had strikes against him on Twitch, and follows that up with 'Twitch shut down my business multiple times.' So...you never got hit with strikes, but you got hit with strikes, Mr. Burnell?

And whenever he tried to be funny and endear himself to Craig and Adam and they just sat there stone faced. I loved it. This is what happens when he steps outside his bubble and interacts with non-wheelchairs.

What's really clear during the interview is that Phil really wants friends, a group to belong to. That will never happend beacuse he's an annoying narcissistic bitch. They will never invite him to a normal podcast, they want the detractors to pay up hard and milk that piggy.

Has Phil done his post-stream pre-stream yet trying to run damage control or is that tomorrow?

Also, why does Phil think that this may be a regular thing between these two and him? Wasn't the whole point to sweep the drama under the rug and bury the hatchet, so to speak?
