Drugs affect people differently, and I would be entirely unsurprised that Mama Raven shoved fistfuls of Ritalin down the maw of the worst of the Tomlinsons. So I believe Pat took Ritalin. I even believe he took it when he didn't need it, because Ritalin can be a catch-all drug to try and solve Shitty Kid Syndrome.

He still could be lying, because it's Pat, but he's definitely lying about 'hacking' Ritalin. Or that he did anything well while on the drug, because he doesn't do anything well.
