Corporate Cucks / Hustle Culture / LinkedIn Loonies - Corporate bootlickers and shills

With how some companies check their employee's social medias, in some cases you have no choice but to pretty much build your personality and social media presence around your job
some part of me wants to LARP as a dildo collector but only on one instagram account so I can sue for privacy violations.

Some part of me wants to make a satire instagram account where I pretend to do business stuff on a date, at the beach, on vacation, in a casino, etc

But being a coward, I set all my socials to private, partially because of this

With welding, you have guys that are always working, 24/7. Taking insane shifts, always working on their cars, and I'm just sitting there, like, where is your life? A lot of the older guys balk at vacation time, companies dont make accommodations like picking up your kids from school, 12 hour shifts, and im like "no wonder you're 45 men down". I'm willing to work hard, put in some OT so I don't get laid off if and when that comes, prove my worth and all that, but I want a stable life, with time to sleep, watch shit on a nice flat screen, find a wife, spend time with the nephews, and so on. I already pull 57 hours a week from the time I get up till the time I get home, and yet apparently kids like me "don't know how to work". Please tell me I'm not nuts.

Please tell me I'm not nuts.
Don't worry, they're the nuts.

The previous generations were not only treated better by a society that was still functioning, because they weren't in power, but then they relentlessly taunt and shame the following generations. Look at this shit I remembered seeing years ago:
roguelike.png

Companies are generally willing to offer anything except realistic wages, or more recently reprieve from the faggotry trying to strangle society in the cradle.

By "hardcore unemployables" they mean people who are struggling. They, of course, want someone who is nonconventional in only the perfectly conventional ways, if "Rogues have respect for diversity." weren't clear enough.

Also note "Rogues are willing to shun titles and personal financial success in the pursuit of the greater good." therein. The "greater good" here is the titles and personal financial success of those who can get a desperate idiot to agree to this shit.

This is the most double speak shit I've ever seen on a job application. Pathetic how some companies will try spin all their negative aspects as a positive. "The reward is the feeling of a job well done" no nigger, the reward is money.

you can be a total workaholic like that in some circumstances
option 1: you have a tradwife at home who keeps the house in order, the children cared for, and yourself sane after you finish your 11 hour shift at the shop
option 2: you are an immigrant/expat who has no life outside of work, you live frugally and send a big portion of your salary back home to your family
option 3: you are a mindless drone who is content with a life of nothing but work, bread and circuses ad infinitum

You're not. A lot of those men started their families at a time when the wife did all of the picking kids up/housework/chores, while nowadays both parents will be working full-time and take turns doing "wife stuff" whenever each of them is free.
Thing is not all of them are old, a lot of young guys think like this too. And I'm just sitting here man, listening to how much they work. One of them has a broken back, titanium rods up in there. He's 19. Admittedly it was from a car accident but still. I love the guy, but I feel like a pleb next to him, and he's crazy good at what he does, but I know for a fact it's gonna burn him out. I don't live to work, I work to live.

"Rogue IT manager" really reminds me of "rockstar programmer" which is the same HR bullshit meaning that you'll have unreasonable expectations placed on you, but hey, in turn you get a cool title!

Middle managers cope by feeling like they are some form of feudal nobility in charg of the peasants instead of simply House Negros
The OSS weaponized bad management in WW2. One of their tips for lowering morale was this:
Cry and sob hysterically at every occasion, especially when confronted by government clerks.

That's a good point. I don't use any social media, so I take for granted that I can disregard things like that.

What I'm interested in is how that became the norm. It was blue collar workers who came out to strike in the 1800s for a 40 hour workweek. How did they go from "8 hours to work, 8 hours to rest and 8 hours to do as we please" to "break me in half like your baby and I'm batman".

You have two groups. The farm boys, who work sun rise till sun set and have since they were kids. Then you have everyone else; outcasts with talent and a drive to not become NEETS. Combine that with the boomers, the old guard still running the trades, set in their ways, and that hustle culture has a trickle down effect. On one hand SOME jobs absolutely need it, and there are those people built for it that will work 3 months on, 3 months off on a oil rig.

But for a factory, it's unnecessary, damaging even, because they don't realize that not everyone WANTS or IS ABLE to run 12 hour shifts all week, no matter how much you pay (which has gone up in certain factories in my area, I'm talking 27 a hour for scrub jobs), and that's why they are missing workers in the dozens. The solution is simple: move to a 8 hour shift schedule while increasing pay, it effectively balances out. But the Boomers, they are stubborn and prideful. I respect yet hate it at the same time. They are masters at their craft. But they don't see the current market of tradesmen and their needs.

And if you do use social media just don't make it connected to "real you".

The thing privacy crowd tends to forget is you will INEVITABLY be forced to work together with people in the real world who use things like Facebook messenger and they aren't all gonna change their method of communication to accommodate one paranoid looking person in the group. Set up some barebones normie shit for your job/university/etc collaboration needs and keep all your furry inflation porn and holocaust denial under a pseudonym without reusing the same email or simmilar passwords. Win win.

>if you need money, don't work here
>We do not plan, budget[..]

wtf you mean your employees or whatever your busted ass business is? Cause if the latter, that sounds like they wouldn't be around long. Actually, if you don't plan, how does anyone even do work and get paid? Oh right money doesn't matter. Ok well still the budget issue. I hope whoever wrote it is a homeless tranny now.

I've never had an HR manager who wasn't a total worthless dipshit.

Never put your information on that cock sucking data mine Linkedin. There's no reason why everyone in the world should see every facet of your life.
Somewhat recently I decided to update my Linkedin and put something like "living in a dumpster" because I thought it was funny and some kid I haven't talked to in years almost immediately messaged me say "Hey, man. Are you OK?!".

I'm honestly surprised that people actually still use that shit.
