You Know What Grinds My Gears? - Things that personally piss you off

When people constantly feel have to justify why they do not like someone or something when simple answers such as "I don't know it's just something about them/it" should be sufficient for the short term.

For we have not evolved millions of years for our intuition to not be correct when it comes to understanding that there's something "off " about some people and that we can dislike and modern sensibilities of "being nice" or "polite" shouldn't always take precedence over the primal reptilian brain that screams from its depths of your soul "no".

Not enough people actually pay attention to their instincts. If your gut tells you something's wrong, listen to it.
And let's face it, you don't have to like anyone for whatever reasons (or lack thereof) you want. Society's forgotten that you don't have to be "accepted" or "tolerated", just that you shouldn't mistreat other people for the hell of it.

Older people who think that just because you're much younger than them, they don't have to listen to you. I once had to train someone (back when I worked at a fast food place) who was about 30 years older and she wouldn't take me seriously and didn't like to listen because of this.
Old fucks frequently think they know everything when they don't.

That's more their problem than yours. Just snitch to the boss, and they will get a warning or something. If they decide to be petty and retaliate, just snitch more and they will (maybe) eventually get fired.

This happened over a decade ago. I even wrote a list of instructions for her and she'd make excuses that "she didn't tell her to do that" when she was questioned on not doing a chore. She was eventually left off.

EDIT: Also, what annoys me is artist who blatantly refuse to improve themselves no matter how much advice, encouragement, etc they get. They just push it aside, sometimes claim "it's their style", and just let their art stagnate or in some cases, get worse and they see nothing wrong with it.

I feel this.

Spent a little time working as a security guard back in the day. They had phased out handwritten daily reports in favor of a simple spreadsheet template. Just type in your report and the hour your patrol started in the appropriate cells and email it to the site supervisor at the end of your shift. Easy right? Not for the one old dinosaur filling in for a few weeks. He would flat out tell me “I ain’t learning this shit!” when I tried showing him. Dude couldn’t even figure out how to use Outlook after repeated attempts to show him became he just didn’t want to learn something new. Constantly bitched at me for us not keeping paper time sheets in favor of clocking in and out on the company phone as well.

I'm looking for apartments and these landlords are demanding 3x your income up front. Really?
I remember finding this out at some point and being convinced that it must be some kind of conspiracy to force people to cohabitate or some crazy shit. Who in the fuck is renting in stead of buying and makes triple their rent? People who make enough to not have to rent out of economic factors, that's who. I get that landlords need to get paid each month, but their business is getting paid, not how much you make. And triple is just insane. Double is already bad enough for people who have to eat on a dirt poor budget to afford rent at all without the requirement, but triple is something that wouldn't make me hesitate to tell the property owners to go neck themselves if I had to deal with apartment hunting.

It gets worse when you think how much money landlords may have lost during COVID. I feel for them, but at the same time, if one could make 3x their income, would they even consider renting? Not to make this political, but given the current trajectory of the economy and being softer on crime, the middle class is dwindling into rich or poor. If you haven't established yourself yet, good luck.

Everything is getting more expensive. The cost of living now practically requires you to work overtime to even LIVE. I have not even thought about vacation.

And people wonder why more and more people are checking out and becoming NEETs.

That's insane. I hope you can find an apartment with lesser requirements because that's too much.

Is it a nice area? Are people being evicted or moving out?
Supposedly, they are. Although, looking at reviews, a few complained about the location.

How is anybody supposed to LIVE in this economy?

Women in politics and uniform. Women are incapable of leadership; allowing them to lead is only an exercise in humiliation of civilization. I can think of people I respect as leaders from every single background, even Jews, but not a single woman. I hate the idea of women having authority over me to such an extent I turned down an opportunity to go to Annapolis because as you guessed too many fucking cunts. Troons don’t even bother me the way women with societal authority do.

Everyone who wants to call me MATI or autistic just point to one single example of a woman leading that worked out well in the long run…you can’t because none exists.
