It’s rather interesting that the same people who will be celebrating DJT going to jail are the same ones that are willingly ignoring the shady money laundering deals that President Biden and his family went through.

Meanwhile, the banking giants’ collapse is one of the biggest stories of the year, and people are ignoring it because they don’t remember how Occupy Wall Street imploded.

Whether or not Trump goes to jail, it’s irrelevant in the long scheme of things, since the real winners will still be the elites that run the establishment parties in America.

And I say this as someone that voted for Trump in 2020. I’ll just have to stick with writing in names for votes. 2024 will just be too insane to witness.

You can't be barred from running for President unless you've already served two terms, been impeached and convicted, or have been convicted of insurrection or rebellion against the US

If he's sperging out like that that may only mean one of two things:
  1. He's correct, and he'll be stuffed into the piggy slammer. I just hope it's for a non-BS reason that doesn't further degrade rule of law. Otherwise, I don't care about his fat ass being thrown in jail outside of losing the milk of one of greatest cows America's ever had, maybe the best ever.
  2. DeSantis is getting the nomination, he knows it, and is seething and coping about it the only way Trump's ever known: tard narc rage.
If we're going with no. 1, maybe it could be connected to no. 2? A glowop to put him out to pasture so he can't run, and America finally closes that extremely retarded chapter in its history?

The idea Trump is losing support from the GOP because he didn't pardon J6 protestors is divorced from reality. It's as stupid as the notion that GOP voters won't enthusiastically walk over broken glass to vote for him again because of 'his vaccine.' As far as the Fox crowd is concerned, it is Joe Biden, not Donald Trump, who committed unforgivable treachery against those J6 'patriots.' Taking a group of people already receptive to messianic thinking and offering them a flesh-and-blood savior is a recipe for a cult of personality not a coherent political movement. The MAGA crowd has no actual political preferences. It is all aimless grievance politics. I'll grant you that Trump's position within the Republican voter base has diminished, but not to any significant degree.

The notion among GOP establishment types that someone like Ron "Tiny" DeSantis could become the avatar of the base's mindless resentment is laughable. Trump is still going to be the GOP nominee in 2024 unless he decides otherwise--jailed or not, the GOP is Trump. As much as elected Republicans might loathe the idea, Trump is the only guy who can get the base excited to vote. If he goes to jail, it won't matter as much as Democrats and hopelessly naive Republicans believe it will. Donald would drag DeSantis down with him, giving Biden a 2nd term, before ever letting him win where he himself lost.

You can turn any low grade shady businessman into some supercriminal by jumbling terms around. Like for example Tax Fraud: Conjures up images of Trump being Sam Bankman or Enron mastermind but is actually just some employees reducing their reported salary the taxman. Lied under Oath : some judge claiming Trump did. But of course when Clinton does so and everybody knows it, its no big deal.

You get the idea. Yeah I agree trump is shady but not any more so than tons of pols running around freely some of who are going after him. The only difference is he's in the wrong camp and so he gets the anal probing. The legal system shouldn't be one party's personal attack dog.
