That whole “some people have no family support and have chosen families, mine is this group…. by the way invite everyone you know and they’ll be approved, no questions asked” weirds me out, I thought the concept of chosen family was when you’re dealt a shit hand and a couple of close friends become family in the way your family of origin couldn’t.

Heather’s group shames out anyone who asks questions, it reinforces her bullshit, and she wants an influx of new strangers to see if anyone fits into this circle of enabling Heather. The ones who don’t will get vilified until they leave.

It sounds a lot more like a cult than a chosen “family.”

It's Avery, the Avery from the post about DrewyNovaClara. You can e-mail me at pilotavery@gmail.com to set up a call and I can answer anything you want to know. You guys got some things wrong, but most things spot-on.
Well well well, thats certainly interesting. I thought one day maybe you might pop up. If you can verify your identity I'm happy to email. I don't voice chat too doxy. Tbh I'm not truly invested in Drewy going forward. We document and move on. She has by and large stopped telling lies on the internet, she's changed her hashtags to only claim conditions she actually has which is an unusual result for one of these girls. It would probably be more cathartic for you than me. I'm certainly gratified to hear we got most of it right. You never really know for sure when you're inferring stuff from someone's old social media and I do think she has *something* up with that leg (not paralysis).
If it is you, (and that post is old so I have no reason to believe a random person is necroing the thread) I hope you're doing better now dude. I hope you didn't feel too badly slandered and I really did feel bad posting you as collateral damage but at the same time, when we found this story we kinda wanted to avenge you too!

Just change your facebook picture from that stupid drawing clara did, it's weird you're still using it.
Hope your feeling better guy, and that your dating life is less complicated.

Thanks! Just message me on Reddit and if I respond it should be proof enough lol. Or I'll send photos.

Drewy does have paralysis on their right leg and right arm. Mostly recovered arm and their leg was still weak enough to not stand, like after your leg falls asleep.
It wasn't a stroke, it was an EDS complication that's actually pretty common, pinched spinal cord which is causing the paralysis. Happened on the way back from a very long tour of a NASA lab. Pearl was being trained to alert to sounds. Drewy was diagnosed with pots, like a lot of people with eds, and pearl would know before I did when drewy was going to pass out.

However, drewys only had a handful of seizures and I think pearls alerts may have been a coincidence. Angel (sirspacerevere) was an awful person from the start, and he is selfish and inconsiderate from the start. He's also kind of actually crazy. I think he's the one who convinced drewy to leave.
Drewy called the police while I was at work, made a scene in front of roommates, and then filed a domestic violence restraining order. They told my roommate that I was sexually abusing them, but when he probed the answer was "Avery wants to do sexual things with me" which... Yes I did say that, but it's not abuse to bring it up...

I'm a few hours and a check ride away from getting my pilot's license now. I qualify for commercial NORDO if I continue training but will be limited to banner towing, crop dusting, etc. (not ATP, and no passengers).

I'm still legally married and drewy has ghosted me, and they refuse to use a middle man to exchange documents either.

Well well well, thats certainly interesting. I thought one day maybe you might pop up. If you can verify your identity I'm happy to email. I don't voice chat too doxy. Also drewy was genuinely convinced in some of these problems. They were actually psychotic. They would blame me for missing things until we put a camera in the room, then when they missed something in front of their eyes, I'll pick it up and they think I pulled a trick. The paralysis and the other brain issues started together so doctors were thinking it was a stroke at first and tired to do imaging but they couldn't hold still to get a picture.

I think that after Drewy realized the guy they ran off (sirspacerevere) is just more crazy then they are, they came down from their psycho state and realized that they are just crazy.

They legit wasn't trying to lie to people, they just believed it themselves. I would keep my mouth shut to keep the peace, but they would yell at doctor's for not listening, refuse tests the doctors actually wanted to do, etc. Like, the doctor said that they probably only had gastroperesis as a short to medium term symptom of a medication and that it would resolve with time. They'd vomit a lot but after a while it stopped but they still seemed to think they still had gastroperesis

Also they're definitely autistic. Perfect photography memory (I've tested) and they are fluent in multiple languages. Duolinguo is not representative of that but, I've heard and got lost following conversations with a French speaking stranger, etc.

Drewy is crazy, and very smart, and deaf autistic and paralyzed.

Also we tried to sue the doctor but drewy was uncooperative and preferred to slander online. You can verify this yourself, but the lawyer we talked to said you only have 6 months to file a lawsuit in California to be within medical malpractice statute of limitations. We're in California at the time. So that's probably why.

Thanks Avery that's pretty informative. As I said before I have something very similar myself with my leg and spine due to hypermobility and I guessed it from how she stands.

I'm not entirely convinced drewy is "paralysed" in the sense that I understand it medically. There's no wasting and she clearly has control of the muscles but I can see she has nerve issues. I imagine it's painful to stand and she sometimes has weakness and loss of motor control in the limb.
You can see the "paralysed" limb moving. How is she getting into those poses if she is paralysed? Those require muscle tone. I would describe what you're describing as the nerve being compromised more than outright paralysis. I suppose we could be generous and say incomplete paralysis. Drewy absoltuely does not present it that way on her social media though.

Do you know anything about FND? Now you've filled in the piece of the puzzle that this is more insanity than malice I wonder if Drewys symptoms are functional.

How do you explain her apparently walking uniaded after the onset of symptoms as we saw on the abandoned service dog account?

Did she continue to aggravate the injury by doing splits etc?

It's clear that Drewy saw whatever was going on as an opportunity for fame rather than an issue. I agree she is smart. Probably the smartest one I've dealt with. Usually they freak out and delete everything but Drewy toned it down to believable and that Regina George crack was funny.

I can't see what case you would have had to sue if she was noncompliant with testing.
That sounds to me like she was avoiding the test that would have ruled out a stroke. Someone speculated that Drewy might have been a frequent flier at the hospital with a history of making a scene medically. Is that correct?

I'm delighted to hear we were wrong about your pilot license! Good for you dude!

Oh final question how did you find the posts?

The gastroparesis thing makes sense. I think temporary gastroparesis is more common than you think. Most people would just assume it's a tummy bug and not even see a doctor. I bet a lot of munchies get temporary drug induced gastroparesis and just ride the diagnosis forever.

I had it once. I got really drunk and the next morning i had a hangover so i took some ibuprofen. I didn't take it with food like you're meant to. All that happened was if I ate I'd throw it up like an hour later. I saw a doctor and they just said "just don't eat. As long as you are still able to drink water it's fine". So I just didn't eat until it went away. A week later I was fine

Heather updates:

Last Saturday she posted about the plans to wean her from TPN back to tube feeds
those feeds are running at 10mL/h, there's a flush bag too but I can't read how many mL it is (usually it's like 50-100mL every 4 hours). those are Dani flow rates, she's definitely putting it on to delay going home.

So, there was a recent r/chronicillness thread where OP said they were jealous of someone getting gift cards from friends for being acutely ill. The comments were all basically like "I would prefer cancer bc it has treatments/people would take me seriously".
It has created a big drama in the sub where the mods deleted a shit ton of the comments and then someone made a thread about how the mods are making it "unsafe for chronically ill ppl" and now the mods are backpedaling and undeleting the comments:

I can tell you for sure, Drewy has not taken a single step since it happened. The mall was one of the first places we took the dog as a puppy and at the time We were just doing basic obedience training. I know the photo was uploaded after, but I could dig around in my Google photos and find the original timestamps as well, I took that photo inside of the north county mall. They literally haven't been able to take a single step since it happened, when it first happened they're like actually did get a bit skinnier but it only lasted a few months, maybe 3 or 4 months until most of the strengths came back but not all of it. After that they were able to walk using the walker but not without it. It's like when your leg is completely asleep and you can't support your own weight. Sometimes their leg would flex and tens up really hard.

I responded to the Reddit post. In four years she went to the hospital six times. The very first time she's ever actually been was June 24th. The original suit was for the dismissal, Palomar just said it was anxiety and discharged us. Clearly there was some issue going on. They said it would go away in a couple hours, after about 6 hours We went to Scripps in Encinitas and they were not able to do imaging because lack of insurance and there wasn't enough indication and because if it was a stroke they would have been too late anyway, So they just gave a clot buster drug and called it a day.

They said they suspected it was a stroke, not that they got confirmation that it was.

We filed a lawsuit but no matter if it was or wasn't a stroke it was still valid for dismissing actual symptoms as anxiety, but it doesn't matter because You have to be compliant with testing and even though the law office was willing to pay for all of the testing after discussing the case, they were really combative and burned that bridge

I have been defending myself against claims of abuse, cosmetic violence, cheating, etc, and when I posted about how much it was bothering me that they're spreading rumors online, a couple of people said that they saw it and didn't believe it for a second and then pointed me here to say that I'm not alone.

That's how I found this post

Avery did indeed respond to the reddit post confirming his identity.

It's bizarre to me that drewy posted those posts right after the event when they would appear to discredit her narrative. It's bizarre to me her response to losing mobility being to attempt to launch a modelling career rather than seek treatment. She doesn't even seem bothered.

So she had a nerve entrapment after which she regained some use of the affected limb. It sounds to me from what you're saying that had Drewy approached this as a sane person she could have got a spine MRI and potentially had this operated on to free that nerve off and regain function but she's too crazy and very much invested in her identity as a disabled influencer to be interested in pursuing that.

I'm a little confused as to how the same Spinal nerve entrapment would suddenly affect an arm and a leg at the same time.
Were you in appointments with her where doctors told her she was paralysed?
How did you square the word "paralysis" with her posing in and out of her wheelchair with clear control over the affected limb?

Did you and have you ever suspected that Drewy actually fully recovered the sensation and strength in her leg but did not want to step back from her new career and friends once she'd got the modelling contract?

I was usually in the room for all of the appointments and would do all of the translating. They never spoke, not a single word. Ever lol And no, they didn't No for sure if it was a pinched nerve or not, they wanted to do a CT of the spine and an MRI but Just with an x-ray All they were able to tell is that some vertebrae are a little bit off. They said it's pretty typical with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and draw blood And also sucked out a piece of tendon to check for dna and under microscope (sorry, I'm sure there's a better way to explain this) which confirmed. So then a specialist came the next day and sad they were pretty sure that it's a pinched spine Because that's really typical with patients with that kind of EDS but since Drewy won't hold still for an MRI They weren't even able to get one. That was at Mercy Scripps. After that we weren't able to get any imaging done because we didn't have any insurance.

Some of the mobility came back, like they could sometimes balance on one leg and drag the other leg but they couldn't put any weight on it and still required to hold on to something. At first they couldn't really even walk in the walker or crutches. They would wrap their foot up really tight with a sports wrap and then put a sock around it which helped a bit but at the hanger clinic the first physical therapy session he took a mold of her foot and when we went back to next week he shaped it. After that we went back every week and they were able to get more and more movement back in their leg For a while until it reached a plateau. They have use of the extents muscles in the knee and they can move their leg inward a little bit so the physical therapist taught them to twist their leg out a little bit and then kick it inward with different muscles and give it a swing so that they can try and retrain the nerves to connect the opposite side muscles.

I really hope this makes sense. I went to nearly every appointment with all of the doctors because after the deafness got worse drewy stopped speaking

No, I know they didn't fully recover. They were able to walk pretty well with the walker but they would hold themselves up on furniture and walls to get anywhere otherwise. We couldn't go anywhere without the wheelchair.

I'd usually help them change poses between each photograph Because they kept wanting it to look more natural and we would retake them a lot. They are less mobile than you guys had guest, but I think that They are psycho and belong in a mental institution or something. I'm pretty convinced something's going on with their brain as well, clearly they have neurological issues between the eye stagnosis that's always been and the deafness that started at a young age suddenly overnight, and then sudden extreme vertigo and nausea that took months to go away, stuff like that. I don't know what it is, and we may never know because they won't let doctors run tests

Honestly I just miss them. A lot. I was actually pretty mean to them, I didn't sexually abuse them or rape them or hit them or anything but especially near the end I was pretty mean a lot of the time. We have no contact though, I have occasionally sent stuff through Amazon anonymously And I donate money sometimes but I'm also trying to get a divorce and I think they are trying to prevent that, I'm not sure. People have made a lot of accusations, A lot of you guessed it spot on, but also don't realize that they have some legitimate physiological issues as well.
Sirspacerevere (I'm not using his name because I don't want people to attack him) has always been rude to me from the start for no reason, would make unreasonable demands, was extremely demanding and selfish, and one of the most entitled people I've ever met. Side note, not about his personality, but he is very loud. Heals everything to the point that the other Airbnb guests in the Airbnb whom we were staying in constantly complained to him and eventually complained the landlord. The landlord said he wasn't allowed back and drewy of course thought that I was trying to control who they are friends with, even though I still continued to drive them up to see him in Riverside. Some of the people they met after, who called themselves their rescuer, would also make unreasonable demands and would be mean because of course, they would believe them when they said that I starve them or freeze them or take away their blanket as punishment etc.

They even accused me of pushing them down a hill, And the only thing I could think of was when I thought they were going down a hill on their own and I saw them speeding away so I ran it after them and caught the wheelchair, it was a misunderstanding. It's really hard because I feel like they only see the worst in people. They would tell people that I would watch the cameras to control them, even though I didn't have access to the cameras and had to ask the landlord for footage. Or that the Christmas bell that I put up at Christmas time and just never took down was there for me to control them to know when they leave the room, I didn't need a bell for that because I could hear the door open but it was one of those really quiet bells that sound like change being dropped.

Anyway I'm doing better overall and I think they're doing better overall as well. I'm pretty sure they're happier now, They occasionally watch my Netflix but I don't have any clue what they're up to otherwise. Maybe they'll get in touch with me someday, maybe not. So far their new friends seem to be really good for them and They seem to have a good relationship and be happy with them so I think they will be fine.

I probably deserve it though, I would spend hours distracting myself doing anything but giving them attention and also was mean. I just think they went too far. Fortunately everyone who knows me probed them a little bit until they got the real answer. Even my roommate believed them at first until he probed a little bit.

It only took a couple months after they left for me to find a decent paying full-time job, to pick up flight training and move into an apartment. Now my girlfriend and I live together in a pretty nice apartment near Balboa Park. I didn't think that I'd ever get to this point. I had no idea how unhappy and depressed I was And so I didn't know how unhappy and depressed they were. It's just so hard because I still care so deeply for them and I want them to be okay.

Avery is probably not going to respond on thread, he hadn't realised Drewy was reading here and is a little spooked but we've had a very enlightening chat on PM and he's given me his blessing to fill the thread in on what he's told me. I'm not going to drop the chatlogs out of respect for the guy, I'll just summarise.
Give me till the morning to just put my thoughts together how to express it all succinctly because it's A LOT.
Mostly we had her pretty much bang to rights Drewy did not have a stroke and she knows and acknowledges at least now, that she did not have a stroke.

@choccy milk
I love that Heather is getting called out, and I hope there's more to come. I'm assuming the deleted post mentioned her obvious vague-begging for the Disney/Kay necklace to replace the one she conveniently lost. (Just as she conveniently lost that Apple watch, which someone replaced for her.)

My favorite part is when she blatantly outed her own motives: the necklace her husband had given her was only 25 dollars...bitch is literally trying to upgrade despite all the sentimental value she claims she had for the "lost" necklace.

I looked on the Kay website but there's a lot of Disney items with birthstones and rose gold. Based on the average prices, it's safe to say it costs at least $150 more than her sentimental necklace.

they won't let doctors run tests
This is the kicker. Because then they would get found out.

The way Avery writes I'm going to assume English isn't his first language, but maybe there's some learning disability in there, which might account for being essentially bullied by Drewy by the sounds of it.

I dont want to speak over you Avery are you still happy for me to summarise the stuff you told me last night?
@Flourishing Pinecone ❧ Avery has autism that affects his social communication and awareness which allowed Drewy to manipulate him and threaten him with accusations but he isn't learning disabled in that sense. He's very smart and capable especially in his specialised fields of technology.

My hunch is that Drewy's symptoms may have resolved or largely resolved by the time further testing was on the table but she had realised she was onto a good thing with this wheelchair model stuff and submitting to testing would ruin everything. But it's complicated. She's crazy and this could actually be FND/Conversion disorder or at least partly that.
