And well watching with what we know now it really is aparent just how quiet he is. Max and Frank are yelling and freaking out, HowToBasic is yelling and throwing eggs, Chad is being a fat cunt, while Ian is generally in the background. Now this isn't necessarily a bad thing. I think it works well with him being a sort of "straight man" and the stuff he did say was usually the phrases that would become memes later on i.e. "hey, that's pretty good", "I have cancer" so it's not like he did nothing. But I'm just wondering how much input he really had for all of it. He definitely seems like the +1 to the FF, Max and HowToBasic (+Chad) gang. Hell I didn't even remember that the first Vomit Cake didn't even have him on, but the video was just as funny.

Something more interesting I noticed is that his seething passive-aggressiveness can be seen even back then. At the end of Deadly Twister 2, Ian actually gets mad at HTB because he goes a little too apeshit and hits Chad over the head with a cake tin while throwing a bunch of shit, bending it in the process. This moment always stayed with me because back then it was "one of the few times iDubbbz genuinely got angry", and because the way he got mad was pretty unique. He smiles and seethes, which we see way more often now. I thought this was the only time Edups got angry on camera until his downfall, but there's another instance where I really think he's genuinely annoyed. In the Human Cake BTS video, at 3:50, HTB is randomly zooming in on him and Ian makes a comment on how he's "just standing there and you're zooming in on me" [...] "it's fucking retarded". I think from his tone he really is slightly annoyed for whatever reason. What's funny is that this video is before Deadly Twister.

Could it be that iDubbbz was always annoyed at or just didn't like HTB and he just let it all out at the cake tin incident? It's worth nothing that Deadly Twister 2 is the last video Maxmoefoe ever posted on his main channel, and iDubbbz mentions how they needed the cake tin for another video which AFAIK never got made. This is tinfoil territory at this point, but maybe there's a different reason as to why there was never another Cancer Crew video that's not iDubbbz getting pussy-whipped OR him being unable to come to Australia.

Another thing I always found odd is that there are FF videos with Max and Ian, and Maxmoefoe videos with Frank and Ian, but FF and Max never made an appearance in iDubbbz's channel aside from the 2nd channel vlogs (which are not canon).
