The "industry" is wicked, if you (falsely in my opinion) set the makers of CP/CSAM apart it's still dehumanizing on a vast scale, a modern slave trade when you include the pimping and trafficking that goes on behind the scenes.

You're lucky if porn is the most evil thing you're aware of, or have experience with.

Porn doesn't steal your money, time, or your literal life just because it can, or doesn't agree with your worldview. Porn doesn't literally destroy the body's biological processes & cause death. Porn won't shove a knife into your tires or your cat because it's funny.

If porn didn't exist, the people responsible for it would still be hustling the old fashioned way, women would still be getting turned out as whores or sex-slaves, and dudes would still spend shitloads of money so they can coom one way or another. If not porn then it's something else, and the true evil is whatever/whoever is facilitating, allowing, or encouraging all the addiction, lust, laziness, gluttony, etc etc... that goes along with it.

But porn still isn't evil; even at it's worst & most reprehensible, it's a symptom of things gone bad; be it personally, culturally, and/or existentially. The crux is that porn is still a choice, as poor & easy as it may be to make. So when someone chooses porn (or any addiction) over the welfare of themselves or families, that speaks more about the individual & their lack of moral fortitude or integrity.

yeah even if you completely ignore the actual sex trafficking parts and only consider those who do everything in a fully legal way, you're still looking at an industry that makes its money by exploiting, abusing, corrupting and ruining people for profit.
flimsy "but they all consented so it's ok!" excuses have little value when you're looking at professionals who systematically bait and pressure vulnerable, young, impressionable, and already damaged people into further destroying themselves and their future.
