Pizza Tower itself doesnt have some annoying political bullshit message or anything like that going on in the game. Its just fun, so people on both sides of politics are trying to tear down the devs reputation to feel better about themselves or to force the dev to come out and agree with one side or the other.
At least thats what it seems like is going on.

Theres some streamer troon with a cartoon bunny avatar (and of course its oversexualized with huge boobs) thats basically attaching himself to this game by making (or more likely comissioning) tons of fanart of his avatar with pepino in the game's style.

Maybe thats whats creating this rumor.

On one hand, it's nice to have a Wario-style game. On the other hand, I'd much rather it was based off of 2 or 3 than 4.

It's a mix of callhimcake (the troon bunny, he hung out with crankeyconstruct and this is the result of it lol), the schitzo from soyjack.party spamming about the dev allegedly hanging out with troons/liking Keffals tweets, and the Celeste fan base trying to latch on to this game but tried to cancel the main dev for saying dumb shit online

And yet as others said in-game there's absolutely nothing political and it's just a good time
