They're scared. Insiders are saying they'll indict tomorrow and then arraign him sometime next week. They know that this case is nothing, but there is pressure from above now to go through with it. Essentially, upper government officials are telling them to shit or get off the pot, but almost everyone at the DA office are starting to see what the consequences of their actions will be.

Because Trump started demanding Section 230 of the CDA be nuked as a condition of signing the 2021 budget (he was still throwing a fit about the stolen election), which tilted Null and led to him greenlighting the lolcow thread, despite the usual "no celebrities/politicians" rule.
There was no one else particularly interested in contributing to said thread besides all the people who already group together in TES.

I'm disappointed. I for one was looking forward to another blatant piece of evidence to throw onto the "America is a dead gay country" pile and the ensuing shitshow to follow.
 
I don't blame Null getting triggered over the 230 stuff because if it ever got passed you fucking know the megajews would use it to destroy places like KiwiFarms while the actual villains who abused it to manipulate and censor people like Google and Fagbook would just stonewall that shit like crazy with entire platoons of lawyers.

Oh the feds are going to do a thing to some guy. I'm sure that will have a great deal of impact on the average person's day to day life.

I don't know why people still pretend like things on the news matter anymore. At this point the only reason things keep going is due to momentum, so who cares what all these play-acting fags do?

I say we assign recurring posters in both threads a Pro-Trump badge or Anti-Trump badge based off their replies. Then when that causes people to bicker harder start assigning both badges to random people across the site.

I just think its kind of interesting to see at this point. I'm also curious to see what the motive is here, because TBTB gain absolutely nothing by arresting Trump right now. The easy answer is that this is a distraction for the banking collapse happening right now, which is what you really wanna keep an eye on. This is just political theater to keep all the bailouts out of the news.

Got enough publicity to release an early campaign video. Saavy, but also stupid.
 
I seriously doubt they'd ever do a perp walk with Trump or handcuff him or anything nuts like that.

What they're aiming for is to technically arrest him. He'd be escorted to an office by his usual secret service with the remote chance of maybe some regular law enforcement representative. Maybe they'll have him take a mugshot where he's smiling Robert Downey Jr style or have his finger prints taken, but that'd be it.

The DA and the Dems want victories even if they're symbolic victories. They celebrate impeaching Trump (even though it failed), they'll celebrate the Russia hoax showing Trump as corrupt (even though it was thoroughly debunked), and they'll celebrate Trump being arrested (even if it just amounts to showing up to an office to do some paperwork).

Still in the end Trump would come out looking pretty great being able to show off how he's being victimized and maybe selling some thug life merchandise with his mug shot. Can imagine some people selling t-shirts at his rallies with any kind of mugshot, real or fake, to celebrate this shit show.
