Bank Run Watch 2023 after Silicon Valley Bank shutdown - Over 97% of SVB's assets were not FDIC insured

This isn't the first instance of this, there is a lot of dodgy business going on in the commodities world that is coming to light at the same time. A mint in Australia was producing gold and sending it to an exchange in China, but the gold did not meet the proper quality standards and now every single bit of gold produced by this mint for the past decade or more is at question.
Australia out-chinked the chinks? Gotta respect the hustle.

The oldest known consumer complaint in the world, from 1750BCE in the ancient Sumerian city Ur, is about sub-standard quality copper.

I know you probably meant the first instance of this recently but I find it funny that some scams are as old as history.
There was something like this during the 08' failure. NY's metal exchange couldn't cough enough up gold up so people were "delayed" for years.
The question is right now is how bad the rot within the woodwork is. If all the comex markets were like this oh boy.

Look at Bill Gates. He developed an operating system and hasn't been involved in anything else but masturbating over his billions.
He bought DOS from someone else, rebranded it to MS-DOS, and his mother got him an audience with IBM. MS-DOS was a clone of CP/M by Gary Kildall, who was screwed over in this deal because he couldn't meet with IBM when they wanted. Bill then used business practices now illegal to leverage this into his empire that has squandered the world's computers arguably even more than UNIX.

So, his existence is strictly negative.

SVB’s Loans to Insiders Tripled to $219 Million Before It Failed
Jesus... I know we like to say bankers get away scot-free, but I guarantee you these guys are getting hung out to dry because they made the cardinal error of doing their fuckery so badly and transparently even normies can add 2+2 and get four.

You'd be surprised how many people bought gold certificates instead of actual on-hand metals. What, you Kiwis thought fractional reserve banking extended only to money? The best part is a lot of these places would charge you storage fees to hold the gold you only theoretically owned.

Thank fucking Christ someone still remembers his shameful origins. He has never been a competent engineer or even a reasonably-decent tinkerer, and the work he launched his "career" with was done by someone else (who went unrewarded and mostly unacknowledged for his efforts). I hold him personally responsible for setting us back 30+ years in terms of technological innovation and permanently fucking up the field of computer science by establishing such low standards and getting people used to computers just crashing all the time and software barely working with itself much less other software (especially competing software).

People shouldn't know what a "blue screen" is, like at all. But his taint on the IT industry led to people just accepting (and even joking) about it so much that when an alpha build of Windows 98 famously blue-screened during a demonstration in front of a big audience, people mostly just laughed about it and the incident did nothing to shake people's "confidence" in Win98's eventual "quality" on release.

Instead, we've pissed away countless man years over the last 30 years coping with the Swiss cheese security and general incompetence of Windows' various incarnations that we could have spent inventing cool stuff. And let's never forget it was Microsoft who once overheard someone tell a worried parent "no, just opening an email to read it can't infect your computer with a virus if you don't open any attachments in it" and responded with "hold my beer," followed by releasing Outlook. Much of the modern computer security industry swirls around mitigating the endless flaws in Windows and other Microsoft products to allow people to pretend their PCs are reasonably secure.

Grrrr.

Eh. This won't be the end of the world. Lean times sure, but humanity survived for how many thousand of years without even knowing what a stock exchange was?
Honestly the stocks collapsing would just hurt the Elite more who have on idea how to live modestly during hard times.

Most normies know how to get by on a budget and will probably thrive since this is likely the death of ESG and companies will have to actually sell product to make money.

I know I'm being optimistic so please shower me in your rainbows.

basically offtopic but gates DID actually do programming (with basic for example), and was (is) an autistic nerd (just look at his divorce for proof of that) and Kildall was a bit of an ass because he thought he was in the hot seat and could call the shots and IBM was like whatever we don't give a shit

funfact: everyone involved at the time in all computer shit was a nerdy faggot NO EXCEPTIONS and this includes whoever you simp for 1000% even if it's stallman or some shit (lol)

i take large amounts of schadenfreude watching microsoft slowly die to the same deaths that ate many of it's larger competitors before

thank god Steve Apple aborted any change microsnot ever had to control the phone market
>BCE

history revisionist; into the trash it goes!
"before cock expansion"

I like how the retards don't even realize that using BCE implies that the era after Christ is the Common Era which gives Him even MORE SIGNIFICANCE you silly gits

I absolutely hate this retarded shit.

Just use BC and AD like normal human beings you wikiniggers.

The first use of "common era" was near the beginning of the 17th century, to refer to ecclesiastic dates that were common to all of christendom, as opposed to dates defined by the regnal year of English kings. It was also often called the "christian era" in the same time period. Where there's a common era, there must also be a "before". The current usage of the terms CE and BCE is hardly revisionist.

He developed Microsoft BASIC and licensed it to almost every major home computer manufacturer in the 70s and 80s. Apple and Atari had their own forms of BASIC, but they were so slow and shitty that people went out and bought Microsoft BASIC to replace them. BASIC was a keystone component of microcomputers back then. You can't discount its importance.

It's literally based on the Gregorian calendar, which was conceived by 5th century Jesuits, based on the lifetime of Jesus Christ. "Anno Domini" is Latin for "in the year of the Lord". It's revisionist because it is a slapdash patch job of trying to take Jesus out of the bible to satiate fedoralords, and is a telltale sign that you are reading bullshit.

Also, the notation was conceived in the 1990s by some faggot college professor, not the 17th century.

Do you understand how retarded this is? You're still tanking damage from inflation and forgoing the benefits a bank can provide. At least the "retards" buying gold understand that some kike cannot just print gold. N.B. Unless you bought literal metal, you got scammed by the aforementioned kikes. Gold deposits can have runs just like banks and paper fraud is too easy.
You have no way of knowing if the seller of the gold you buy online even has it. if you can't hold the gold or silver in your hands you're just playing with stocks by a different name.

Larry, Moe, and Curly explain how banks work:

Holy shit, it was Perth.

I saw a variation of the "Harry and Megan being interviewed by Oprah" meme that was the tablet text, but I can't find it again so you get this instead:

If faggots want to be revisionist and change the dating system because it's not woke they should just start at 0 because there is NOTHING the world has in common two thousand years ago. If we are living in a common era it should at most be 100-200 years in it already.

Why not just start a new calendar based on the Unix time epoch of 1970? Oh wait, that wouldn't sufficiently erase Jesus Christ's connection from the calendar because the Gregorian one would still be separate, and woke retards cannot create, they can only mutilate.
