Alternatively, I have a theory. Let's assume a number of posts like this come from actual children/teenagers who are still in school. Most students eventually reach a level of math that is too difficult for them. Last year pre-HRT they were ok with algebra 1. This year they progressed to algebra 2, or calculus, or statistics etc and hit that wall. Coincidentally this is the same time they started HRT.
