Nick did make that stream a disaster. PPP to his credit had a goal in that stream, to get on Dax Herrera's nerves. Nick constantly tried to bring it back to fat jokes which PPP headed off by just making the joke on himself first basically stealing Nick's thunder and the finishing any subsequent fat jokes before nick finished them. Nick couldn't cope with his grade school humor being cut off and just kept doing it.

It is already out there that I went to Catholic school, and I am basing the opinion on my own observations. Granted, these will vary based on the observer.

With Nick's grandparent's deep connections to the Church, his wife's deep Protestant connections, the videos from his father's YouTube, and the wholesome, conservative LARP, I have come to the conclusion that Nick was raised very strictly and basically rebelled at any point he could. According to him, he and his friends got up to all kinds of degeneracy, but NEVER in front of the family. He even got butthurt and melted down in a stream last November/December over having to act normal in front of them.

Based on that fact, Nick has always had tight restrictions on his life that he has always resented. Those restrictions, however, acted as guide rails in his life that kept him somewhat sane.
