So this is a common misunderstanding but the money used to reimburse Cohen came from one of Trump's businesses in the form of legal fees. The allegation is that paying stormy for the nda was an undisclosed campaign expense and that paying Cohen back through his retainer was falsifying business records.

There are two (well more but still) sides to this.

1- Was this bait for a new J6? I mean, Trump didnt do much to get the people arrested in J6 out but you can also argue there wasnt much he could do given he is against very clever sociopaths who probably put him in a no win situation. Trump should be aware that arresting him will not make his supporters stop and the "reasons" for the arrest are so legally weak that any lawyer will be able to get him out in a snap of a finger...so ultimately he shouldnt be making that much of a big deal.

2- Lefitsts celebrating that finally, this time, the Drumpf would get arrested and punished for his....uuhhh...."crimes"? Another reminder of how pitiful these people are that the whole country and western world is burning and arresting their favorite super villain is all they care for.

I disagree on Trump being a great leader and a good person.
In 2015 I would've agreed with you, however his first term proved what he really was.

He didn't build the wall, he didn't deport them all, he didn't lock her up, didn't end the disastrous wars.

He passed more gun laws than Obama and deported less illegals than Obama.

So either Cohen was lying when he said Trump wasn't involved in 2018, or he's lying now. I don't honestly see how a reasonable grand jury could indict when the main witness against Trump is THIS untrustworthy. I'm not surprised Bragg tried to withhold it, it would almost guarantee that Trump wouldn't be indicted because the accuser lacks anything resembling credibility.

Of course not. Don't plan on anything remarkable happening at all for that matter. Each side will just continue to yell and bitch at the other and shit their pants and do nothing into perpetuity while individual power and quality of life continues to slowly erode away.
